EOTL eps 4B: Misunderstanding

The five criminals' deaths have passed. And day after day, people ended up forgetting about the incident and living their day as usual.

Xavier has also completely recovered. Fortunately he was young when undergoing all the chastisement and torment, because his young body still has good cell regeneration to repair itself and heal his skin naturally. He began to open up, willing to speak even if only a short word to his family.

Marlene's eyes were fixed on Akram's broken toy robot and the woman frowned, between bewildered and sad.

“Why did you ruin Akram's toy, Xavier?” Marlene stretched out her hand towards the crying Akram, and the poor little boy immediately ran into his mother's arms, sobbing there shedding tears.Xavier raised his chin in a haughty manner.

“I don't like that toy. Akram so don't want to play with me.”

“But it was Akram's birthday gift from dad, you shouldn't..”.

“I was kidnapped to replace Akram,” Xavier replied in a cold manner, and his words were so severe that anything Marlene wanted to say was immediately swallowed in her throat. “And I didn't ask for anything in return. I just asked Akram to play with me and not be busy with his toys. Is that too much?” tanyanya.

Marlene was stunned, her eyes staring at Xavier who was like a sinless angel. Unfortunately, the situation in the family did not improve after that first incident. Xavier begins to overdo his demands for Akram's attention, any toy Akram has always captured and destroyed.

Oh, Xavier can't hurt them. Although the boy from the day grew busy in his mini-lab to make all kinds of unidentified monstrous chemical potions, Baron knew that Xavier loved his family very much.

Akram cries loudly when he sees his beloved dog is already in a form of nonsense, while Xavier behaves mature, just embracing Akram so as not to see the traumatic scene, then he invited Akram into the house to entertain him.

Marlene herself was so shocked that when the Baron took her drinking water in their room, she could only sit on the edge of the bed, receive the water glass, but just put it on her lap and not drink it.

“We have to hire a wild animal hunter to check out the back garden. Who knows, maybe there are ferrets or other wild animals hiding there?” marlene said with a trembling voice.

Baron let out a long breath. He knelt down in front of Marlene, looking deeply into her eyes.

“Sayang. Did you never think…. If it wasn't a wild beast?”

The Baron's statement made Marlene think. And inevitably, he realized the truth behind the Baron's words. Instantly, his tears spilled uncontrollably, causing Baron to take the glass of water he had given from Marlene's trembling hand and place it on the table. He then sat down on the edge of the bed next to Marlene, and hugged his weeping wife.

“Xavier should not have grown up to be that cruel child. We are the ones who caused him to suffer like this. The abduction happened because we took Xavier as our adopted son!” Marlene raised her head and looked at the Baron with determination. “From now on, we have to make sure that there are no more pets in this house, and there were no more toys or anything that caught Akram's attention too far away to make Xavier feel abandoned. You agree with me, right?”
