With her feet stomping with anger, Maya steps back to enter Xavier's study to gather with the intelligent men she deserves to be with. When her steps get to the desk Elana is focusing on looking at her computer screen, seems to be busy working, Maya's steps slow down and her eyes are watching Elana sharply.

Supervised like that of course Elana felt, she raised her head and her eyes instantly rubbed with Maya's eyes observing her with a strange lightning similar to the sign of hostility.

Confused at not understanding why the woman in front of him was staring antipathy, Elana asked.

"Miss Maya? Can I help you?" his voice sounded innocent and sinless. It was indeed an authenticity from Elana, but of course Maya caught it as something fake and contrived, it was as if Elana was deliberately using her fake plain look to lure all the rich and powerful men in this place.

Don't you think Elana's after Akram Night?

In terms of qualifications, of course Elana is not at all qualified to be Xavier's assistant. Inevitably Elana nodded her head politely which was immediately replied with a sincere nod with a smile.

Elana then turned her gaze to Maya, intending to say hello but was instantly dashed when she realized that the woman had turned her face in the opposite direction as if lazy to interact again with Elana.

With a wry smile, Elana turned her attention to Xavier, picked up her call and quickly stepped towards Xavier who was waiting for her in the doorway.

Maya's eyes flared up in the elevator as she watched Elana step towards Xavier waiting in the doorway. Xavier who when with them put on a cold face unfriendly, this time looked bright with a smile on his lips along with the footsteps of Elana who was getting closer.

Hmh! What a shameless thing. The two men were now alone on the top floor of this building, and they had definitely used the opportunity to disgustingly believe that no one could harm them.

Xavier Light treated her with demeanour throughout her discussion in the room earlier, as if Maya was not a special woman with extraordinary intelligence, the man treated her like an ordinary person who had no competence, though he has a myriad of extraordinary advantages if the man wants to open his eyes. Now, Xavier Light put on a big smile as he greeted his approaching assistant? The man may be good at academics, but his brain is blunted instantly when it comes to women.

Maya imagines if she keeps the evidence of Elana making out with Elios in the woman's toilet and throws it all in Xavier's face. Perhaps he would have succeeded in scraping the shame on that flawless face, for it turned out that his drunken romance had been betrayed by the bitch in front of his own nostrils.

The elevator doors suddenly closed, making Maya unable to watch over the immoral behavior of the classless couple who had been plastered in front of her eyes. Maya changed her stance, leaning her back against the elevator wall behind her and snorting in annoyance by accident.

His attitude was of course noticed by Craden who was very thorough. Although the man's facial expression did not change, he immediately watched Maya and asked.

"What's bothering you? Ever since you walked back into Xavier's room, you seemed to be about to explode out of anger" Craden said curiously.

The instant Maya raised her head, impatient to vent her dissatisfaction.

"That woman.. You know that bitch Xavier's assistant? When you told me to order Elios a drink, I saw him making out with Elios in the ladies' room!"

Craden usually manages to keep his emotions out of sight, but this time, shock is evident in his eyes, making his clear pupils dilate because of it.

"Be careful what you say, Maya. Because, if you don't have any evidence, you could end up as a slanderer. Remember, what you're talking about is no ordinary person" Craden's eyes narrowed, filled with disbelief. "Did you see with your own eyes that Elana was making out with Elios?"

Maya frowned, but ended up speaking in a stupefied tone.

"I didn't see it myself, but they were both very suspicious. Elios stood in front of the elevator near the women's toilet, then hurried away saying that Akram was waiting for him to meet outside. Then, the woman, Elana, came out of the bathroom with matted hair, swollen lips as if kissed and the body with the scent of female perfume! What else could happen other than they had made out before and were caught by me?" he tried to convince Craden.

Hearing Maya's explanation, Craden seemed more relaxed. The man unraveled the smile on his thin lips, then raised a few eyebrows when he asked Maya.

"When it happened, did you know where Akram was?" ask her with a mysterious tone.

Maya is immediately inflamed when she realizes that Craden seems to be underestimating her testimony.

"What does all this have to do with Akram? It has nothing to do with it at all! We are currently refuting the scandal between Elios and Elana at work. It's disgusting, making out in the toilet like an animal that can't resist lust!" maya's eyes flashed hatefully as she gave spice to her wild imagination. "And you know what? I think Elana is very incompetent to be Xavier's assistant. He doesn't even know the basics of personal assistant work! I think he sold his body and became Xavier's mistress to get his current position..."

"Dragon's talking, Maya. I told you to keep your attitude here. The people you involve in your words are not ordinary people, they can bully you mercilessly if you harass them," in Craden's stifled voice warned, she begins to dislike Maya's judgmental attitude because she is driven by hatred for no reason.

"I'm not bothering them. You know, Craden, I'd hate it the most if there was injustice before my eyes. I think that Akram Night should be made aware of how much Elana sold her body to two men in her office at work, and Xavier should also know that Elana was having an affair in front of her eyes with Elios!"

"Any thought is in your mind with the intention of creating a special thread of feud between those people, cancel everything!" Craden straightened his back with a tense and stiff attitude, forgetting his usual elegant courtesy attitude and turning into a very resolute arrogant. Maya looked at him sharply. "We are here to work, not to interfere in other people's affairs. I don't want to hear any more voices from you regarding the personal matters of the people in this place. Do you understand?"

Craden's question sounded demanding, and at this time the man seemed to loom horribly over Maya, to the point that, inevitably, Maya suppressed her ambition and hatred, then gave a weak nod of surrender.

"Well, Craden, I understand." he replied in a tone no less weak.

"It's good that you understand. Because I won't tolerate your bad attitude anymore. Especially to Elana, stop bothering her, okay?" sahut Craden with a slightly up tone.

This time Maya did not answer, the woman just nodded her head thinly, then looked away as if she had deliberately cut off the conversation between them.

Craden let out a long sigh, cursing in his heart as he was lured to escape the limits of his patience in facing Maya. At least he hopes Maya will listen to his words and set aside his arrogant attitude and unwarranted hunter so that he will be saved. Of course Xavier had told him everything about Akram Night and Elana's special relationship, and Craden knew for sure, if Maya had hurt Elana, then she would have ended without being helped again.

Note Author: The story of Cradence Evening is planned to be a new novel author project. But I don't know if it will be posted here after Essence Of The Darkness is over or not. If so, the author will definitely make an announcement here, and of course he DOES NOT PAIR WITH MAYA.
