CHAPTER 29-GAME HUNTING PART I

The day we were waiting for arrived, a hunting match. I was awakened by Diana early in the morning to prepare myself. Hm.... Dressing up doesn't take hours, right? But Diana insisted on making me look charming in front of everyone because this was the first event I participated in and also the first day I was able to get out of the palace.

For hours Diana, helped by the servants, helped me get ready. This time I did not wear a dress to play a navy blue suit with typical ornaments of knights in gold and also a robe that matches the suit I wear, my own shoes are long, short-heeled white boots. My own hair is tied to a simple pony tail with a long navy blue ribbon hair.

In this hunting match, female members of the Imperial family are indeed required to wear this suit. I don't really mind either because I like this look. It feels very comfortable compared to wearing a dress suit that has many accessories here and there and is quite heavy. But what makes me object is of course this long preparation, even though I only wear simple clothes like this, but the preparation is almost the same as wearing a set of glamorous and luxurious dresses that I usually wear at parties.

Before entering the show I was tired....

I immediately turned my head and saw Prince Blaze who was running over to me with a big smile. He also wears the same suit as me but is white with gold ornaments and black shoes.

We both saw that Mother, Emperor, Crown Prince Castor, Prince Helios, some soldiers and also some servants had already gathered there. There are also three horse carriages without a roof that will take us all aka members of the Imperial family to the Nature forest which is the place where this hunting match is held.

My eyes found the figure of the Emperor's mistress, aka Kayla, standing near the Emperor and storied like a servant in general. But it felt like the distance between him and the Emperor was closer. Gee whiz... He seemed to be starting to be brave when there was Mother standing beside the Emperor. Is it possible that he thought it safe because he was the Emperor's personal servant?

Suddenly I felt the grip of Prince Blaze's hand tighten and made me feel surprised then immediately raised my head to look at Prince Blaze's face. I was stunned by the expression he was looking at right now, his jaw was hardened and his face was visibly holding in anger while looking straight ahead. Prince Blaze himself was a person who was rarely angry.

What makes him so angry?

Unconsciously I moved my hand and pressed my grip on his hand, Prince Blaze seemed to gasp in shock and wake up and looked at me.

"Aren't you okay?" I asked slowly.

Prince Blaze looked so excited, "A-I'm fine, Vivi! It was just a bit tense with this hunting match. Don't worry, ahahaha"

Prince Blaze laughed awkwardly. Was it because of the tension due to this hunting match? Every time he trained with the sword, he always looked confident. Did Prince Blaze lie for such a reason?

Me and Prince Blaze stared at the Crown Prince who was walking towards the two of us followed by Mother, Emperor and Prince Helios who were walking behind him, Crown Prince Castor and Prince Helios wear the same suit as Prince Blaze (though the Emperor has more ornaments) while Mother also wears the exact same suit as me, but his hair looks like he just let it unravel.

"Sir Castor cheated! I'll be with Vivi! I'm the one who picked him up!' The protest of Prince Blaze while looking dejectedly at Crown Prince Castor.

"Don't be greedy Blaze, I haven't been with Vivi for a long time because I've been busy with my lessons and chores not to mention now Vivi is also busy with all her lessons now. While you often meet Vivi while practicing swordplay with Duke Allison!' Crown Prince Castor said firmly. But I could hear there was an annoyed tone in his voice.

"Already Blaze, you succumbed to your brother first yes" Breached Mother in the end.

Prince Blaze's face looked immediately pouted, he took his grip off my hand gently and then irritatedly stepped towards the carriage when the last alias jumped onto the carriage and sat down with a face to face still pouting.

"Good god, that kid..." The Emperor nodded while holding his head with his right hand and then shook his head slowly.

Meanwhile Mother looked chuckled slightly and Prince Helios who sighed.

"Basic boy..." The Prince of Helios.

"Loh, Brother Helios is also a child, still eleven years, right?" My chirps suddenly and made him instantly freeze and stand stiff.

The Crown Prince seemed to hold his laughter all out while Mother finally let go of her laughter.

"God... Vivi, you're right, honey..." Mother said in her laugh.

Prince Helios's face turned red, "Have it! I'll go up first!"

With quick steps he approached Prince Blaze in the third carriage and sat down next to him.

Suddenly I felt my body lift up and I realized the Crown Prince did it and carried me gently.

"Now it is our turn to go up" Crown Prince Castor said with a gentle smile.

I nodded slowly and Crown Prince Castor walked slowly to the second horse-drawn carriage and he jumped high and landed smoothly on this second-placed horse-drawn carriage. Then the two of us sat down next to each other and stared at Mother and the Emperor who had walked towards their horse carriage which was in the first position. The Emperor gently reached out his hand to help Mother ride the horse carriage and Mother received the helping hand.

My eyes also squinted when I vaguely saw a considerable amount of red marks on Mom's neck as her hair was slightly exposed while riding in the horse carriage.

What'sthat...? Is Mom hurt? Why so many red marks on his neck?
