The Destiny of the Demon Sword

The Destiny of the Demon Sword
Leaving the hometown

The orange that looked happy at the instant the look on his face turned moody, it made Grandpa Zhang furrow his brows.

"Just your face looks happy, now it looks gloomy, why? tell me the same grandfather" asked Grandfather Zhang.

Jingga looked up at Grandpa Zhang fixedly, she herself did not understand what had happened to her change of feeling.

He simply shook his head while forcing a line of smiles on his tiny lips.

"Oya Kek, how can grandfather know where I am here?, when all this time I have been hiding among many corpses" asked Jingga curiously.

Grandfather Zhang smiled gently in response to it then replied,

"Grandfather could feel the existence of life even though it was very far away"

"Hem, my grandfather would not have met you, but my grandfather was amazed at your age so young that it can be so hard with a life like this" he explained.

"Grandfather intends to take you to the continent of the Sun, do you want to come with grandfather?, at least you can get a better life there" he asked.

"Am I not going to burn Kek, living on the Sun continent?, the sun here alone has made me overheated" he replied innocently hearing the word of the sun that Zhang's grandfather had said.

"Ha ha ha, you're here, the continent of the Sun is just a name because it is located in the east of the sun, soon the sun will rise, are you not sleepy my grandson?" grandpa Zhang replied and asked.

"No, I have to bury my parents' bodies as well as the bodies of my other family, so that they are calm in nature" he replied straightforwardly.

"Everyone's body has been so rotten that it is almost eaten by maggots, certainly not good for your health, how about Grandpa just burn everything" Zhang's grandfather bargained as it became commonplace in his native place.

"But I beg for the bodies of my parents I have to bury them, for the others it's up to grandfather" said Orange asked him and then pulled the body of his mother.

Grandfather Zhang smiled seeing a little boy painstakingly pulling the body of his mother who did not even shift in the slightest.

With his ability, Zhang's grandfather flicked a finger at the excavated ground that had been made by Orange.

"Cake earthquake, there's earthquake!" yelled Orange felt the ground of his footing tremble violently.

After the pit was enough to hold about eight people, Zhang's grandfather moved his mother's body to the pit.

Orang-orang was stunned to see his mother's body fly and then go into the tomb, Zhang's grandfather asked him to appoint the body of his family another Orange to be buried in the same burrow.

Orange continued to run around showing the body of his family assisted by Zhang's grandfather who then moved him into the tomb one by one.

"Grandfather, is grandfather a witch? how can Grandpa move my family's body without touching it?" Orange admiringly asked him.

Grandpa Zhang just smiled to answer it and moved the earth to bury all the bodies of the Orange family.

"Let's go now" Grandpa Zhang asked without waiting for an answer directly carrying the orange and then moved it onto the horse's back.

"Grandfather what about the corpses of the villagers? he said he wanted to burn it" asked Jingga.

Grandfather Zhang ignored him as he continued to drive his horse away from the village and the battleground he was on.

After being far enough up the hill, Zhang's grandfather stopped and turned to stare at the battlefield including the existence of the surrounding villages.

From the palm of his hand came a golden-colored fireball as big as a hand and threw it, the fireball grew bigger and more immediately burned everything that hit it, Orange closed his eyes due to exposure to an increasingly dazzling light.

The two then continued the journey so quickly the horse ran continuously, along the way Orange saw many human carcasses lying almost leaving the bones, how a war so terrible took the lives of everyone.

"Basically every kingdom and empire has an ego to rule over each other, that's the one that causes wars" Grandfather Zhang replied as simply as possible.

The orange that heard him did not understand at all, all he knew was that war only made people die, homes destroyed and nature damaged.

The day turned night, both of them were in the middle of the dense jungle.

"We should rest first, aren't you hungry now?" bargain Grandpa Zhang then both of them get off the horse's back.

Orange who used to not eat during the war was not so hungry, but he felt tired after almost a day of long trips.

"Please wait here, grandfather will hunt animals for our dinner" he added.

"Good cake" said Orange and sat not far from the horse.

In his seat, Jingga again remembered his family, especially his mother who loved him so much.

"Mother, someday I will try to be as useful a person as I want to be" murmured in memory of her late mother.

"That's good, but you also have to be strong and great to be able to reconcile your people one day" Zhang's grandfather said.

Orange was at a loss to hear it, not to not understand it, but how could Grandpa Zhang hear what his mind was saying.

Grandpa Zhang only smiled gently looking at the astonished gaze from the Orange.

"Have not looked at grandfather like that, you should help grandfather roast this goat" asked Zhang's grandfather who was skinning his hunted goat.

Perplexed as to how to help his grandfather, he did not understand at all how to help him. With innocence Orange can only scratch his head that does not itch.

"I just help eat it cake, hehe" said Orange so innocently.

Once ripe, the two are so voraciously eating roasted goats that the orange burps so full, but the delicious taste of roasted goats forces his mouth to continue chewing. Grandpa Zhang until the downing he made.

"Already, already, you should be ready to sleep, tomorrow morning we continue the journey" said Zhang's grandfather who did not stop being made to smile by his grandson's orange behavior.

With a stomach filled with goat meat makes it difficult for the orange to move, he immediately lay asleep soundly because of it.

Grandpa Zhang covered him and meditated not far from his grandson.

Just as his eyes were closed in meditation, his sharp hearing heard footsteps getting closer and closer towards him.

Not wanting his grandson to wake up from his sleep, grandfather Zhang made a formation wall covering their existence including his horse.

Earlier when Grandpa Zhang was roasting his hunted goats, a puff of smoke rose high into the air.

Some of the people of Rimba village who inhabit the forest saw a puff of smoke in the southern direction of the forest area.

Fearing forest fires, the village chief immediately gathered the villagers of Rimba village and ordered four young men to directly review the location to find the source of smoke.

"Maman, Endang, Endin and Uteng, you go there immediately to find the source of the smoke, mark with arrows in case of fire and then report back to me" the village head ordered firmly.

"Good head" answered the four at once and went south of the forest area.
