The Charm of the Duda

The Charm of the Duda
Chapter 26

Celina and Dion return home at 7 p.m. They spent several hours watching and eating dinner. The two talk more casually and occasionally chat serious things about college and the future without discussing the matter of arranged marriage.

"Sister Dion there needs to be a Papa.?" Ask Celina. Dion just nodded his head in response. Celina followed Dion who also came down and stepped into the house.

"I go upstairs, brother, take a break. Thank you for making time for me." Celina smiled sincerely. At least his departure with Dion could reduce the bit of disappointment he felt towards Vano.

"Hmm."

"Tomorrow if you want to go back to the apartment. I'll drive you." Dion. Celina nodded her head and smiled faintly, after which rushed up the stairs and left Dion alone in the living room.

Dion was already used to go in and out of the residence of Mr. Adiguna. This house was like a second home to him after the apartment he occupied alone.

It was common for Dion to be in the house for a long time. But even so, Celina had never been close to Dion. Celina was engrossed in her own world while still in High School. He was already disappointed with his parents who often left him alone because they went abroad.

Celina went into the room. The first thing he did was throw the bag into the bed, then lay his body there in a supine position and both hands were used as pillows.

"I should be happy to be close to a good man and willing to accept my past, but why," Celina did not continue her words. He immediately struggled with the contents of his heart and mind that were not in line.

Vano still dominates his heart. His name seems to be stuck there and difficult to let go. Even his feelings for Vano are bigger than his feelings for Marvin.

Vano's charm is too strong to avoid falling in love with her. Regardless of how bad Vano judged and treated him, did not make his love feelings fade.

"Aarghh.!! Why am I this stupid." Celina was frustrated. He ruffled his own hair.

I don't know how many times he made a confession that he was very stupid in terms of romance and all things related to men.

"Ok Celina, forget it and don't assume it exists.!" Vigorously. Celina is not typical of people who like to drag on - dissolve in destruction. He can go crazy that day when he's hurt by love, but the next day he'll smile back and be ready to start the day.

The sound of knocking on the door made Celina get out of bed and change her position by sitting at the end of the bed.

"Honey, this is Mama,,,!" Shouted Mama Lusy.

"Yes.! Login.!" Celina tidied up her messy hair, also removing the hardness of her heart that had been clearly drawn on her face. Now that Celina carved a smile, she did not want to show her sadness in front of anyone.

"Dion's still downstairs, why don't you accompany her for a moment.?" Ask the Mama. He approached Celina and sat down next to her.

"Papa does need to be with him, but he's receiving a phone call from his business partner in London. Dion's all alone downstairs." His speech.

Mama Lusy had accompanied Dion for a moment in her family room, actually she could have a conversation about the company with Dion, he said, but Mama Lusy wants to give more time so that Dion and Celina can pass the recognition process faster. The sooner they get to know each other, the sooner the marriage takes place.

Mama Lusy does not have other candidates according to her criteria to accompany her only daughter. Dion is the only man he knows well.

"I'm tired, Mah, just leave Dion's brother there. He wouldn't mind waiting for Papa,,"

"I'm sleepy anyway." Reasoned. Celina yawns falsely, then re-sheds herself in bed.

"Isn't Dion a good man.?" Mama Lusy stared in surprise at her lazy daughter's behavior to accompany Dion.

"What makes you not like it.?" Mama Lusy again asked Celina a question. The last question made Celina think hard, out of nowhere the Mama could thicken it.

Currently Celina does admit that she does not like Dion, but it does not rule out the possibility that one day she will like Dion maybe even love him.

"Well, I've known Dion for a long time, but it's the first time we've been together. How can I like it so fast.?" Celina asked that question to her mother.

"I need some time Mah. That's why I wanted to get to know Dion's brother more closely before deciding to marry him."

"Mama doesn't need to pressure me, what else is forcing me to be able to accept Brother Dion in such a short time."

"I would have agreed to marry her if I loved her, and vice versa. And if we're just as comfortable."

"Let my closeness and Dion's brother just flow, I don't like being forced,,"

Mama Lusy just sighed softly, rubbed Celina's head then moved from there.

...*****...

Intan rushes out of the room after being called by one of the house workers who informs him that he is being waited by Vano in the dining room.

Intan only wears the casual clothes that she used to sleep in. He dared to change his clothes because Naura had fallen asleep since 1 hour ago.

"Tu, sir called me.?" Intan's voice stutters. Vano's gaze always made his head crumble.

"Hemm,," said Vano, he nodded faintly.

"Sit down, accompany me to eat." In his request, he gave a flat yet firm look.

"Huh.?" Intan made dumb. Whether there is a wind from where, suddenly Vano told him to accompany him to dinner just the two.

"I don't like to repeat words. Do it if you hear it." Vano Sahut. He started filling the dishes with food.

"One more," Vano stared intently at Intan. The girl could only swallow her saliva rough. Vano's gaze was too sharp to make him shudder in horror.

"Don't call me Master, replace it with another call that's better to hear. I feel old being called that."

Vano's speech increasingly makes Intan confused and not out of thought. He felt that something was wrong with Vano's brain. He has been very strange since this morning.

"Then what to call.?" Tanya Intan. He ventured to ask Vano despite his lowered state.

"Anything, other than Sir and Sir.!" Answer Vano quickly.

Intan was silent, he thought hard to change his call to the master. The call that if still sounds polite to his employer.

Long enough Intan silenced. He had not found the right call despite having thought over and over again.

"You won't think until morning, will you.?" Tanya Vano quipped. Intan looked embarrassedly at him.

"Think about it later.! Now fill your stomach so you can think well." Vano told Intan to come to dinner.

Not wanting to get a reprimand from Vano, Intan immediately did what was ordered by Vano. Although hesitant, but Intan began to eat his dinner.

"How's.? Already found a new call.?" Vano asked after the same - same spent dinner.

Intan nodded faintly with doubt on his face. It seemed like he did not have the guts to replace the call with what he had in mind at the moment.

"Good.!" Vano.

"Say now." Pintanya. Intan looks anxious, he bit his lower lip because he was afraid. Worried that Vano will be angry.

"Maural.!" Tegur Vano because he did not speak.

Gina started to open her mouth slowly.

"Ma, mas," he said. His voice could not even be heard by Vano to make Vano bring his face closer.

"What's.? I didn't hear it." His protest.

"Bag,,!" Called Intan shy. He directly bowed his head, not daring to stare at Vano.

"Not bad. That's much better than Mr." Said commenting. Vano immediately got up from the dining table and hurried away.

Intan breathed a sigh of relief. He's kind of giggled every time he's faced with Vano alone.
