Chapter 29: Return to the Past (4)

Eryk himself did not believe it would be taken for granted without effort, he himself was grateful but on the other hand felt he was underestimated Kervyn like the shooting this morning.

Eryk thanks Johnny and goes out to get back to where his brother is, not forgetting while in the elevator, he calls Carla to take care of the rest.

Eryk stares blankly at the elevator; he has no idea what Kervyn's motives are for attacking him, abducting Katherine and now opening wide opportunities for her to get into where she is.

Eryk could have judged a trap for him, Kervyn's goal might have been a person, he himself was fine as long as the person who mattered to him was not hurt let him be alone.

Maybe on this cruise ship will be his last fight, he must prepare himself carefully because he believes there will be a weapons inspection.

If the target remembers Kervyn's murder, Eryk decides to go there alone.

The other thing is, what if it wasn't him? Except for someone else?

Eryk immediately denied it, no one had a great chance other than himself among his brothers, there was indeed Gaea, but she was just an ordinary young lady, indeed, Kervyn only met once with the young woman while disguised as herself tricking the young Gaea.

Kervyn leaned casually against the wall after they escorted Gaea to her room. "So? You got something to ask, bro?"

"What are you doing here for? How could I know?" eryk asked astonishedly, he was neat and meticulous so that Kervyn and the others were unaware of this work.

"Aw, I just miss playing with you, you're not the type to get close to someone let alone Rainer who's our new family, so I guess there's something that you're forced to play around with, together," obviously Kervyn before laughing loosely. "I think it's something fun, in fact you're in charge of protecting a little boy haha. A Young Master like you plays with a nine-year-old girl, obviously you're hiding that from us, must've hurt your pride hey, Mister Enzo." he patted Eryk's shoulder playfully.

Eryk immediately removed Kervyn's hand from his rough shoulder, leaning against the wall beside his brother. "The old man asked me to do this for a new car he'll give me later."

Kervyn laughed again. "Isn't it because you like Gaea?" he guessed the successful one made a red hue on Eryk's cheek. "You're obviously jealous that I got Gaea's attention, and what's with her a bouquet of flowers? Haha..."

"Hey! I'm not a pedophile!" Eryk strongly denied. "I gave her a bouquet of orchids because yesterday promised to take her, this little girl did not want to go home, wanted to continue playing in the flower garden, I had to promise her."

"Oh," Kervyn answered briefly. "It doesn't change my mind that you're jealous, Mister."

Eryk exhaled. "Yes, yes, laugh, laugh as much as you can before I cover your mouth with my shoes!"

Kervyn immediately breezed away. "You can't do it, Eryk."

"Hey!" Eryk immediately chased after Kervyn, a faint smile engraved on his lips, he had not played with Kervyn for a long time so deep down, he was glad his brother was here despite being ridiculed, it is valuable to Kervyn.

Eryk exhaled along with the elevator door that opened, he immediately exited, and walking to where the guest waiting room was, his blue eyes slightly widened seeing Rainer fall asleep leaning on Gaea's shoulder, and he walked over, while the young lady chatted softly with Ferdinand, speaking vaguely regarding the film caught in his ear.

However, not the film that Eryk cares about, the fact that Gaea let Rainer lean to make his blood boil, he approached the young woman. "You must be comfortable, huh? He's been leaning there twice, it hasn't been thought of by you to make it into a business field, Ge?" he said without hiding the cynical tone in his voice.

Gaea and Ferdinand were certainly surprised to hear it then astonished that Eryk suddenly came and said with such sharp words.

Ferdinand stood up, placing his hand against Eryk's forehead while the other hand went to his own forehead. "Hm. You're not hot..."

Eryk immediately put Ferdinand's hand on his forehead. "You're all right?"

"I'm just making sure if you're sick or if you bump your head into such hurtful words" Ferdinand said casually, watching Eryk again. "Don't tell me you're jealous!?"

Eryk turned his back to Alex, clucking his waist in annoyance. "Where Ferdinand might be, I was just giving Gaea advice, he was supposed to take advantage of the situation in order to earn more money,"

Gaea was so angry, he removed Rainer from his shoulder that the young man woke up suddenly, but he did not care, approaching Eryk. "Sorry Young Master, not everything can be cashed in. You know not kindness? I'm doing it because you've made Rainer go the extra mile." he's no less sharp. "Eryk's stupid!" it was fiery and left with legs stomped.

"What's going on here?" Rainer asked while holding his head that was dizzy from being woken up suddenly.

Ferdinand glanced at Eryk with a look of disappointment before chasing after Gaea. "Wait for me!"

Rainer stood up. "What are you fighting about again?"

Eryk rolled his eyeballs. "You—"

Raine cut straight. "You know Eryk? Forget I asked earlier, I want to rest again.." he explained, waltzing away listlessly.

Eryk exhaled. "What happened to me... ?"

There was no way Eryk would still keep the rest of his feelings for Gaea.

But his current behavior is almost the same as before...

Flashbacks

Eryk looked from under the tree two people who were busy playing swings together.

Eryk didn't expect Rainer to adapt easily to the situation or did his new brother like a child?

Eryk glanced at his phone.

Who cares, with Rainer, the task is getting lighter now even though Gaea does not want to let out her voice.

"Haha..."

Eryk refocused his eyes on them again after hearing the sound of women laughing, his eyes widened knowing it was from Gaea's lips. His eyebrows fused, angry.

Eryk tried hard yesterday, but it did not come to fruition while Rainer just by swinging a swing for Gaea for a few hours could let out the little girl's laughter?

Can't be allowed.

Eryk hung up his phone and then walked up to those who were happy as if the world belonged to both of them, and shifted Rainer who was willing to swing Gaea's swing again. "I think you've had enough, just let me go this time."

"Eh?" Rainer was confused; didn't you just say you weren't interested in playing children's games? "Why have you changed?"

Eryk's cheeks then blushed. "I'm just bored! Also pity you seem exhausted, Rai."

That's not true, so Rainer said. "To be honest I'm not—"

"Have a rest," Eryk cut Rainer coldly and smiled at Gaea. "Aren't I replacing Rai?" tanyanya gently.

Gaea nodded innocently.

Rainer who saw Gaea's response did not protest, walking to where Eryk stood watching them.9

Eryk began to swing slowly, there was no response, then he increased a little more speed, and Gaea began to exclaim cheerfully that successfully made him feel something strange in his heart.

"Why do I think of that?" Eryk wondered before finally chasing Gaea and his brother out of the building, there was already his car complete with them all inside. He went inside too.

"Can't we go home first?" Gaea asked.

"For what? Where too?" asked Ferdinand.

Gaea. "Whatever it is, I just don't want to be home fast."

Eryk thought for a moment, it must have something to do with Lola considering that Gaea had come out of Lola's room with a sad facial expression as if to cry. "We're going downtown, Ferdinand."—ini is also his apology.

"Well, where exactly is the middle of town?" Ferdinand asked.

"Mining center,"
