Chapter 10 - Farewell

Chapter 10 PMM

The next day, Dikta returned to look for Lani. Lani is hiding in the library. With his arrogance, Dikta asked for everything to come out. Even he dared to ask the campus library guards to hand the key to him.

"Don't be long, yeah. Ten minutes or I can't help you" said Ms Sri, a library guard who is a friend of Dikta's mother.

"Ready, Aunt. Thanks to ya." Dikta then locked the library space from the inside for a while.

Lani who is concentrating on making notes until she does not know that there are no people around her. Dikta sat before him abruptly, surprising Lani.

"You want what else? Get out of here!" lani Pinta.

"No, Lan. I'm not going to get away from you!" dikta.

"If so, I'll go!" Lani got up and tidied up the books on the library desk.

The girl rushed towards the door to the outside, unfortunately locked.

"Ta, this isn't funny! Open this door!" peekit Lani's.

The girl's hand wanted to bang on the door hard, but Dikta pulled it.

"The more you make noise, I guarantee your image will be bad on campus. You don't want your scholarship revoked, do you, Lan?" threaten Dikta.

"What do you want to do to me?! You still want me to undress in front of you, huh? It turns out that it is true, they said, said your ex-you who have destroyed it. You're just a trashy guy!" Lani curses Dikta with trembling lips.

Finally growling, Dikta punched the nearby bookshelf. The rack made of solid wood powder was instantly broken apart. His books, which had been neatly arranged, fell scattered to the floor.

"You know what you're about me?! You are as stubborn as Raisa! Oh yeah I forgot, you guys are from High School. You are just as cheap!" tuding Dikta's.

Lani watched it in silence. Silence that holds a lot of sadness, disappointment, pain, and anger. His chest felt tight and difficult to breathe.

Dikta still turned his head and looked at Lani with embers of anger glistening in both of his eyes. Then the girl approached. Both of the man's burly hands were stretched out, and he grabbed the girl into his arms.

"Deliver! Let go of me, Ta!" Lani tries to take off Dikta's embrace.

However, the embrace was getting tighter. Dikta's hug was really painful for Lani. The girl just bit her lip. Dikta's embrace tightened and felt like it would break Lani's bones. There was absolutely no room left to move for the girl. Finally to relieve the pain, Lani resigned and relaxed her body.

As soon as the body he was hugging squeezed, Dikta closed both eyes. His head nodded slowly. Stifling feeling in the chest. Even just to be hugged, this girl fought so inwardly Dikta. He really can't control Lani. Yes, for the first time, there was a girl he could not conquer.

Second by second, minute by second passed as only the sound of the clockwork beating of the wall in the room was heard. The two couples' hugs were frozen. Although close to each other but still not feel closer. When finally the one Lani was waiting for arrived, Dikta let go of her embrace. Langen could now see both Dikta's reddened eyes.

Deep in Dikta's heart, his heart whispered to ask him not to take off the hug if not sure. Dikta actually heard the voice of his heart that whispered a reminder. But it feels like this is his last fight. The ego immediately screams to give up, let go, and in the end the ego wins.

"We're done here, Ta!" lani said later.

warned already. Lani moves to the corner of the room. Picked up his bag that had fallen when he was hugged from the floor, and then

step towards the door.

At the door, Lani stopped. He remembered that the door was locked and the key was in Dikta. The girl then stood waiting and finally said pleading, "Ta, please open the door!"

Lani thinks there will be an argument first or a protest thrown from the lips of the man who blackened because of the influence of the cigarette, but beyond expectations Lani. Dikta instead reached into the pocket of jeans he was wearing and took the key from there.

Dikta then stepped towards the door. Put the key into the hole and then slowly rotated it. All that was done by the man with eyes fixed on Lani. A sharp look. While the girl's gaze could only be fixed straight at the door leaf. Lani's view is flat.

When Dikta opened the door slowly, Lani immediately pushed the door leaf to widen. The girl rushed out. Shortly before the girl reached the doorway, Dikta instead blocked Lani's one hand and held back her steps.

"If this is your decision, don't look back! Don't make a sound too! Just a little you can, a little bit you make a sound .. Then I'll hold you back again!" lirih Dikta's.

The man then removed his hand from Lani's arm. The girl just kept quiet and then left. Like Dikta's request, Lani did not turn her head at all. The girl also did not make the slightest sound.

Dikta was very shaken. There was a crazy plea in his heart. Indeed, Dikta wanted Lani to look over even if only for a moment. Dikta also wanted Lani to make a sound even if only a little. So that there's a reason to hold back her girl's steps. Dikta wanted to have a reason to pull the girl back beside him.

Finally, Lani arrived at the edge of the exit of the building. Under Dikta's increasingly sharpened gaze, the girl finally turned left and finally disappeared. Lani stepped her legs accompanied by her heartbeat that was getting wild. But one that Dikta did not know, Lani did not want to turn her head. He did not want to make a sound either because that was the way he could hide his tears.

For some reason, Lani's heart was broken when she said "disconnected" in front of Dikta. That day should be a joy for him. Breaking up from Dikta was his wish for last one month. However, after the word broke even Dikta let him go, Lani's heart was sad.

Dikta's body was shaken instantly. Hit the wall and lean there without energy. He felt his body fall down to the floor. Even his heart that had been whispering reminded to hold Lani, now went silent.

There are so many women that he has been dating on campus, only Lani is difficult to reach. The girl made her day better. But now, everything is done. Even his defeat.

Lani's headed for the girls' toilet. He chose the last room to cry. There were even some students who were afraid to go into the toilet because they thought they heard a ghostly figure crying.

Lani's phone reads, whatsapp message from Red Mapala group. The members were asked to gather in the dean's room immediately. Lani wiped her tears and got up from sitting in the closet.

Lani heads to the sink to wash her hands. However, the girl was aghast when she saw the writing in her mirror.

"YOU MUST DIE"

"This oath is not funny! I don't care if you want even Raisa's ghost to do this, I'm not afraid! Just so you know yes, Sa .. I'm glad you died."

Lani rubbed the red text with water. Deleted it. After calming down, Lani rushed towards the dean's room.
