Little did Zhao Youlin know that her swift departure had sent shockwaves into Mu Tingfeng's heart as well as awakening her vigilance of her ill intentions.

Following a beautiful dream with Joy in their luxurious new home and passing by the house several times to get used to it, Zhao Youlin took Joy out to buy their daily necessities the next day.

Fortunately, the traffic in Zhao Youlin's current home provided a lot of convenience for them. Several large supermalls are located near the condominium.

They only travel there on foot and do not need to use any transportation. Joy has been living in your family since she was born.

Before Zhao Youlin had a child of her own, she did not understand why mothers liked to pamper their children. However, ever since he had his own child, he finally understood.

He thought inwardly and decided that he would play with his son more often in the future. Zhao Youlin led Joy to the nearest big supermall.

"Joy, is there something you want to buy?"

Joy swept her gaze over the large shopping mall. He shook his head in disappointment.

"Woof! Woof! Woof!" Just then, a loud barking sound came from the side.

Joy was instantly attracted to him in the middle of a conversation with Zhao Youlin. He widened his eyes, and his eyes twinkled when he saw a small poodle being carried by a noblewoman not far from him.

His eyes were filled with curiosity and admiration. Zhao Youlin noticed her son's understated and clear reaction.

The next moment, he understood. He said with a smile, “Joy, do you like small animals?”

Joy hesitated for a moment. Then, he nodded, and called out to her, "Mom, can I keep a puppy as a pet?"

To be honest, Zhao Youlin disagreed with the idea of a child raising a small animal as a pet. Besides, the kid's still very small. There will be a lot of bacteria especially hugging and kissing small animals in the house. However, when she saw Joy's hopeful face, she couldn't bring herself to reject him.

He asked, “Joy, can you tell me why you want to keep a puppy as a pet at home?” Joy was a little surprised.

He glanced at Zhao Youlin carefully. Then, he lowered his head and bit his lips.

After some time, only then did he say, “For I have a dog to accompany me when you are not at home, Bu.”
