Ye Yan gasped from his daze. He was surprised to realize that he had asked her many questions all of a sudden. He hurriedly explained, "Sorry, I didn't mean it."

"It's okay." Su He shook his head indifferently. A sweet and warm smile remained on her cute face. Under the table, his hands actually tied together so tightly after hearing Ye Yan's words.

Ye Yan was a little panicked from losing his composure. He did not realize that as he threw his face away from guilt, Su He pursed his lips, and added, "Meet each other before? Who knows?"

"What did you say?" Ye Yan looked at Su He in confusion. He asked faintly.

"none.. The dish is served. Come eat. Master Ye, didn't you say you still have something to deal with later?" Su He smiled faintly and shifted the subject.

After being reminded, Ye Yan remembered the reason he had made just to leave that place earlier. He choked and did not speak any further. He ate his food with his chopsticks. While eating, he thought of how to deal with the particular one that had trapped him.

On the other hand, Ling Ran had no idea that his good intentions had instead pushed his best friend into the pit of fire. After she ran away from the restaurant, she felt relieved. He felt even fresher air than before.

As he walked leisurely on the street, thinking whether he should take something to eat, or look for a hiding place, and checking out the situation between Ye Yan and the girl of his dreams.

The second young master of the Ling family was so engrossed in his thoughts that he did not notice someone carrying a plastic bag was walking out of the restaurant at that moment.

There was a loud thud. The two pitiful people collided with each other and shouted at the same time. The bag in the person's hand was thrown a few steps away from him.

The milk tea in the bag fell out of the bag, the lid came off the bottle, and the liquid spilled onto the floor, while the other two burgers rolled into the middle of the road.

Just then, a car passed by, and its wheels hit a burger. Round hamburger directly into two black .. and flat meat pie.

Li fell to the ground, and he looked wide-eyed at his beloved crumbling hamburger in front of him. His face became dark. The next moment, he cried, "Hiks... My hamburger..."

Li used one of his hands to cover his chest and extended the other hand towards the flattened hamburger. His eyes were filled with tears as if he wanted to die along with two hamburgers.

Right after Ling Ran spoke, Li, who had fallen and sat on the ground after bumping into him, narrowed his eyes. He quickly rose from the ground. He widened his big, round eyes, and glared at Ling Ran ferociously.

"What do you mean by just two hamburgers?! It took me a while before I decided to buy two! Usually, I only buy one, only one!" Speaking of this, Li's eyes lit up with tears again.

Ling Ran said, "So, the focus is not on the hamburger, but about .. two hamburgers, right?"

Li forced himself to hold back his tears. He took a deep breath and gasped one step forward. He pointed at Ling Ran's nose and said with killing intent, "What's wrong with the hamburger? Who are you to underestimate hamburgers? Who are you to look down on them?!"

"I-I..." Ling Ran was stunned to hear Li's sudden reprimand. He opened his mouth and defended himself. However, certain ones did not give him such an opportunity.

“Do you know that there are many people in this world who should be worried if they have food for themselves?! Did you know that there are people who have to work very hard just to fill their stomachs?! Do you know how many calories are in a hamburger? There are almost 600 calories in it! Two hamburgers means there are 1,200 calories in it. A person uses about 1,500 calories per day. In other words, two hamburgers can be an adult's one-day meal .You bumped into me and resulted in me throwing away my hamburger. I don't mind the fact that you didn't apologize to me. But, how dare you disrespect my beloved hamburger shamelessly?! That's totally unforgivable!"

Ling Ran was so shocked that he kept retreating as he was reprimanded by Li. The corner of his lips twitched. He did not understand why the person overreacted over the two hamburgers. He really doesn't understand the reason. Could it be that the girl caused someone to be killed just because of a hamburger?

Unbeknownst to Ling Ran, there was a being in this world called 'greedy'. Their only belief is to be a glutton who can enjoy all the good food on Earth.

Tasting good food was the only thing they were after in this world. Tasting good food was the pillar of their strength. When one does not appreciate food in the presence of a glutton, it is the same as doubting their beliefs. Therefore, they cannot tolerate this.

After Li finished scolding her, she still did not feel enough. He was panting for a while. Then, he looked up, and under Ling Ran's panicked gaze, he continued, "You're there ...! Ling Ran took a deep breath several times. He slowly regained his consciousness. He looked stiff and grabbed Li's finger pointing towards him. He forced a smile on his face, and said, "Miss, I'm sorry for accidentally bumping into you. I'm so sorry for causing you to throw away your lunch. How about this, I'll accompany you to the restaurant, and compensate you with the same set of food? What do you think?"

After Ling Ran finished speaking, Li's anger subsided. He judged Ling Ran with his big eyes. Then, he pushed the black-framed glasses over his bridge and threw out words that almost knocked Ling Ran unconscious.

"Uncle, I won't accept your invitation!"
