At 14:00 they arrived. The rain still fell even though it was not as hard as before, the road was wet and muddy. The air is getting cold.
"Well, there's no way, we survey the field in this muddy condition" muttered Kevin while looking to his side full of puddles.
"To my mother's house, later if the circumstances have made it possible, we just went to that place. How's it?" ask Haga while looking at Kevin, Vita and Manda one by one.
"Good idea" said Vita.
"It's good, I want to make coffee too" added Kevin.
"Man? How's it?" asked Vita while nudging Manda who had just been silent looking at her side window.
"As far as ah" he said while crossing his hands forward.
"okay ... Deal yeah. Just hold on, hold on to my house" said Haga and gave instructions to Kevin which street to walk.
Before long they arrived in front of a light green painted house.
"Until," exclaimed Haga passionately. "Yuk down," he asked.
They all went down and a little ran into the porch of the house. Luckily the rain was just dripping. Arriving at the door, Haga knocked on it 3 times followed by a greeting.
"Assynnnya ... Ma ... Mama ...."
Around this house is overgrown with flowers and ornamental plants. The house is beautiful and comfortable.
Chequek.
The door opened from the inside, then appeared a middle-aged woman owner of this house who was none other than her Mama Haga.
"Well, Bang? Tumben's coming home at this time?" mama Haga asked in surprise and looked at Kevin and the others.
Haga greets her mom, "iya Ma. There's more work around here, so stop by" Haga and introduce Kevin, Vita and Manda. They introduced themselves politely.
Haga's gaze turned into her house. "Hey.. Dear.. Here " said Haga as she waved her hand at someone inside her house. They automatically look inside. It appears that a girl was hugging a hello kitty doll walking hesitantly closer. Haga hugged him tightly. They are involved in conversations like father and son, either just asking for news and asking light things as long as they do not meet for a few days.
"Let's go in first" Mama Haga asked.
Kevin and Vita come in. But not with Manda. Manda pecked, her forehead wrinkled, her expression different from others when she saw Hasha, Haga's son. Not because Hasha is the son of Haga, the man she once was and still loves, but there is something else from Hasha that makes Manda fixated.
"Yailaaah.. People miss" exclaimed Vita then returned and pulled Manda in. Manda resigned alone pulled by Vita. His views never escaped from Hasha. So too with Hasha. The two of them clashed with gazes that could somehow be explained by words. When Manda and Hasha were close together, Vita nudged Manda because she was dumbfounded.
"The same salim as the child-to-be, ma'am" whispered Vita. Manda pinched Vita's waist then glared sharply.
"Here, Aunt Manda, baby. Salim first" persuaded Haga to Hasha, Hasha who looked embarrassed and then wanted to extend his hand to Manda.
"Wow, miraculous" muttered Haga.
"Tumben nih, Hasha wants to salim the same new person. Hasha's son is very shy about it" explained Mama Haga.
Since then Hasha did not want to shake hands with Kevin and Vita and chose to hide behind his papa body while looking a little embarrassed peek.
Manda smiled then approached and lowered her body to align with Hasha. They then shake hands. As their hands united, both of them similarly frowned. The warmth spread throughout their bodies. There was like some kind of electric shock when their hands stuck. But it is not painful, it is soothing. And somehow the atmosphere around them became warmer.
"Just sit down first. For a moment, I made you a drink. Want some tea or coffee?" bargain Mama Haga while walking inside.
"Coffee can, Aunt" exclaimed Kevin spirit. "Kalo Vita, water cowboys, Auntie" kekeh Kevin.
Plaque!
"Cockfighting!" swear Vita while beating Kevin tubi.
Haga chuckled, Mama Haga laughed as she continued to go inside. Manda just shook his head to see the behavior of his two friends.
"Shame on you", Manda muttered as she turned to Kevin and Vita.
And when Manda came back to see Hasha, Hasha was looking at the terrace. A smile came from his lips. It was as if he was talking to someone out there. Manda turned his head and was a little surprised to see someone on the terrace. A boy who was the same age as Hasha, wearing traditional Javanese clothes with a blangkon on his head. His face was deathly pale, the black circumference of his eyes was very clearly visible. His body is transparent. And to be sure, that child is an astral being.
They communicate in their hearts, Hasha looks happy to see the child outside. Manda looked at the two of them in turn, hoping to understand what they were talking about. And the two of them simultaneously looked towards Manda while giggling. Manda frowned, then smiled at Hasha.
"Why?" ask Manda with a smile. He knew that he was being the hot topic of Hasha and the astral boy.
Hasha smiled then approached Manda and whispered, "said Ryu, Aunt Manda Papa's girlfriend" Hasha then laughed while covering her mouth.
"Eh.. Boong ah's. Ngaco tuh Ryu" elak Manda embarrassed.
"real loh. I can see it too" Hasha said confidently.
Manda raised her lips. "Can see? How do you see it?" ask Manda curious.
"Tuh", point Hasha around Manda. "The color is pink. Same as papa"
Automatic, Manda and Haga throw each other a glance. Manda's smile grew wider, not because of the word Hasha just now, but because of the belief that special Hasha is indeed true.
"Miss can you know Ryu?" ask Manda.
Hasha turned to Ryu, Ryu smiled and nodded once. Kevin, Vita and Haga gawk at the familiarity of the two of them.
"Ryu who's yak?" chirp Kevin.
"Bego! It is clearly the devil. Kan Manda can see the devil, uh.but HASHA... She knows too?" ask Vita to Haga.
Mama Haga came out with a tray of drinks and snacks.
"In drink first yes" said Mama Haga.
"False, Aunt. Waduh, ngerepotin" said Kevin base stale while helping Mama Haga put cups and plates to the table.
"Abis soon, Auntie. Kevin mah ngabis abisin food. Don't get out of all Auntie's" said Vita.
"Eh.. Uh.. You mah, open the card, Vit" Kevin said while plucking the cake on the plate.
"Well, right.. It's really aunty. Clayey. Ih, shameful shame damn you Vin" taunted Vita.
"Udah.. It's nothing. Abisin" said Mama Haga.
Haga laughed as she sipped her Mama's warm tea. Her mother then turned to the terrace where there were Manda and Hasha who looked familiar. "Tumben Hasha can be as familiar as a new person"
"Unfortunately Hasha has never been like that before, Auntie?" ask Vita curiously.
"Never, he wants to talk to just us, me, his papa, his grandfather, his aunt. The rest... Never wanted to"
"Haaz... Indigo yes, Tan?" timpal Kevin's.
"Hm.. You could say so. Though it has been closed many times the same ustadz, but only lasted a while" added Mama Haga.
"Pantes, fits Manda" said Kevin while drinking his coffee.
"Son Manda's indigo too?" ask Mama Haga.
"Hooh Tan, so we are not surprised if we see Hasha arrive to talk to herself. We both saw Manda as crazy. Angry at yourself, sometimes laughing at yourself, talking to yourself"
While on the terrace, Manda and Hasha were already together with Ryu. Manda re-aligned her body to align with Hasha and Ryu. Ryu was actually handsome, only his face was cold, as pale as there was no blood behind it. That's natural, because he's an astral being. Ryu and Hasha smile, that's how they communicate. Strangely, Manda could not hear their conversation at all. Usually besides being able to see 'them', Manda could also hear them. Whatever they think and say, Manda can easily hear.
"Wait.. What are you guys talking about?" ask Manda curious.
Hasha turned to Ryu, before long Ryu nodded.
"Here Aunty, his hand" pinta Hasha.
"Hand?" extended his hand to Hasha. Hasha then grasped with her right hand while her left hand grasped Ryu's hand, strangely their hands were both really like grasping each other.
Hasha closed her eyes, and so did Manda. As their eyes closed, the silhouette of the past twisted back like a movie, the past of Manda can be seen by Hasha, and vice versa. Hasha's past can be easily seen. And a few seconds later, they similarly opened their eyes. Hasha immediately hugged Manda.
And, Ryu.. Manda had only seen how Ryu had behaved to Hasha all along. Ryu is good, he is always trying to protect Hasha from the interference of other astral beings who have bad intentions on her. And Ryu had always accompanied Hasha all this time. Because of the abilities possessed by Hasha, he was instead shunned by children his age. Hasha's sometimes strange attitude to them makes her often in bully, and eventually Hasha withdraws from the neighborhood and only wants to hang out with Ryu and his close family.
"Patient, Aunt. Aunty can't be sad anymore either" Hasha advised.
A warm clear liquid shamelessly pooled in Manda's eye pouches and flowed profusely past her cheeks. Hasha's embrace restores her longing for her dead son. I don't know why Manda was crying hearing Hasha say that. The words are simple, yet very deep in the heart.
"Ai." call Haga who turns out to be at the door.
Hasha took off her hug. She wiped Manda's tears with her hands. "Thank you, Hasha" Manda said in a heavy voice.
Hasha nodded while throwing a smile. He turned to Ryu who had been out of nowhere since when he left.
"Haaz.. Take a shower with Grandma" asked Mama Haga.
Hasha nodded then followed her Grandmother's invitation and went inside the house.
Manda took a deep breath, her chest tight, but there was a sense of relief now.
"What are you doing?" ask Haga to make sure.
"No matter what" he said and went inside to gather with Kevin and Vita.
Manda gulped down his warm tea which was almost cold. Kevin and Vita looked at him without daring to ask first.
"Who is this? Who's frying a one-plate cake?" sindir Manda while staring at the two people sitting in front of him.
They both grinned and accused each other. Haga sat down next to Manda.
"Eh, Man.. Hasha indigo?" kevin's question was able to turn Manda's facial expression into serious.
"Yes.. But, I've only seen what I think is good" Manda leaned her head on the back of her back sofa.
"You mean, Man?" ask Vita curiously. Haga's reaction was the same as Vita's. The three of them waited for Manda's next answer.
"So gini.. When I first saw Hasha, I knew she was indigo" Manda explained as she looked at the three of them one by one, especially Haga as Hasha's father.
"Where do you know?" ask Haga.
"From his aura. Each creature will emit its own aura, but only certain people can see. And that indigo aura was predominantly purplish blue. When I look at Hasha, the color is there but it's not that strange, but there are other colors that sometimes appear lost. Golden yellow color. I just found out, and just saw what I thought was good" Manda explained seriously.
"What does that mean?" ask Haga.
Manda only shakes both of his shoulders. "Tomorrow I ask habibi" he said.
