Nadia, The Indigo Girl
Chapter 4: lucid dream or omen 2

In the afternoon Nadia and Endah were filling the basket with dirty laundry to go to the pool, but Nadia felt that someone was watching from afar or just her feelings. Regardless of all Nadia walked towards the pool.

Everything in the pool looked as usual Nadia was washing clothes and bathing, after they were done they all used batik cloth half chest with wet black hair to decompose while having a light conversation. 

Nadia is more prominent than the other girls even though her body is fat and arguably not ideal, but her face is quite beautiful and sweet.

Nadia uses a batik cloth half chest after from the pool her skin looks beautifully maintained compared to other girls. 

The other girl was still with natural skin, Nadia's sandari was watched by someone her eyes blue as sharp as an eagle while smiling a small sign wanted to taste every inch of the manicured skin owned by Nadia.

The blue-eyed man continued to look at Nadia's silhouette who was walking towards the hut with the girl who was carrying a basket filled with laundry.

“Why Papa did not tell ik that there is a beautiful girl here,” muttered when Nadia and Endah.

The two girls were wearing kebaya and batik skirts not long after someone knocked on their hut door, endah and Nadia were immediately shocked and the two girls looked at each other for a moment as Nadia was done dressing Nadia peeking out of the window. Dutch soldiers knocked on the door.

“Kak Endah there is Netherlands,” said Nadia in a frightened voice.

“What!! what do they want?” Endah who was dressed opened the door and then suguhi the view of two soldiers with the face of a sanggar, while the other one with a typical European face and the other with a mixed face it immediately spoke to the core.

 “We get orders from Major General.” PAUSE the soldier stopped his sentence for a moment, “you tomorrow do not go to the field, but there is a task at the house of Major General.” Connect one of the soldiers.

“Only that. Is there any more?” endah asked without fear, without further warning the two soldiers immediately left.

Nadia and Endah looked at each other wondering what exactly this was. Endah and Nadia went back inside the hut, and immediately wondered.

“Kak Endah, means tomorrow we do not work in the fields as usual?” asked the innocent Nadia.

“It seems not, means tomorrow we go straight to the house.” Endah pointed to a luxurious house, which in addition to the kitchen and dining of the soldiers there is a large luxury house.

“Kak Endah I want to ask?” said Nadia who sat next to Endah, Endah's hands busy learning to write with chalk and board.

“Ask what?” said Endah who is still on the board.

“Begin they are here alone, I mean Major General Willem and Sinyo Hanson.” Endah immediately stopped learning to write and looked at Nadia.

“I heard Sinyo Hanson now holds the rank of Second Lieutenant.” Nadia was immediately impressed with her heart, already successful at such a young age.

No wonder Nadia began to admire Hanson, but his mind said he was afraid that later he would only be toyed with Hanson and his common sense also said he and Hanson could not be together maybe because of differences in faith (knows what he means).

 So Nadia is looking for the idea that Hanson is in love with her maybe this is also Nadia's tactic to free her colonized country, but what is the girl's plan.

In the morning the girls began to wake up not with an Alarm, but with the sound of bullet shots were heard shouting soldiers with foreign language shouting while shooting bullets upwards.

 Nadia and Endah also went outside the hut, they were all told to clean up and prepare breakfast.

After the soldiers were full the new girls were allowed to eat with leftovers, but what is okay for Nadia also eat as is because of fear she forgot to prepare a plate of rice and side dishes for herself.

After eating they were all driven into the car by force when Nadia and Endah wanted to get into the car, one of the soldiers called them both.

“You two wait!!! hurry here!!” shouted one of the Indo-Dutch-faced soldiers.

“And all of you quickly get into the car.” All of them in the driveway no one dared to refuse.

“What's the Master?” endah asked, while Nadia clasped Endah's hand while looking down.

“You were told yesterday. If you work at Menner Willem's house let me drive to the front door,” said the soldier with light blue eyes and thick mustache.

Arriving in front of the luxury house, Nadia stunned her house is very antique with pillars and doors typical European style, nadia's eyes looked at the soldier towards a middle-aged man she saw yesterday sitting looking at a sheet of paper sucking on a cigar.

The Dutch soldiers who escorted Nadia and Endah saluted and spoke a foreign language that they both did not understand.

The middle-aged man who this morning was wearing a uniform filled with badges as usual stood up and told the soldier to leave even though his language was difficult to understand, but Nadia knew with body movements.

“Je both come here!” call the middle-aged man. “Iya Menner,” said Endah while holding Nadia close to Menner.

 “Task je both, here clean this house you guys understand!!” he said with a sharp tone.

“We understand Menner,” said Endah representing Nadia talk.

“Je little girl what understand?” with less teaching Willem dared to hold Nadia's chin.

Nadia simply replied with a voice shaking in fear, “understand Menner.” Major General smiled as he said, “smart girl.” His comments. They both cleaned a house of this size only by the two of them with Baboe's help in that house. 

After everything was settled downstairs, the two of them went upstairs and then split up to clean the house. Nadia on the right and Endah on the left was Nadia's idea for the job to be finished quickly.

When Nadia finished cleaning Willem's Menner's workspace she exited the room through the hallway to the next room, without realizing it, a hand smothers his mouth and drags him into a room that is the favorite place of the blonde.

 “Ik please Lieve please don't scream.” Nadia immediately rounded her eyes, she inhaled the scent of mint fruit from the man's body, Nadia realized that this man was wearing military or army clothes. 

“EHHMM!” nadia's hand tried to break away, but the man cornered the small body into the wall and grinned.

“It's been a long time since I noticed je, lieve.” Said. Nadia felt uncomfortable how not as if their bodies were fused together.

But Nadia could feel the embrace that she had been dreaming of warm embrace from the man she loved so much.

Nadia began to forget that this was her subconscious until she forgot her mother and sister while looking at those eagle-sharp blue eyes as if the world supported her.

“Sinyo...I mean Mr.... I still have a lot of work.” Nadia said nervously. Nadia's face was as red as a tomato while looking down, but Hanson raised Nadia's chin with his hand.

“Je pretty just deserved je yesterday in pursuit of men ik up to the kitchen.” Hanson.

Nadia felt she was praised and on the other hand she felt insinuated by this Hanson.

Hanson looked at the girl before him with a smile, it turned out to be very beautiful in contrast to the other inlander girls he had met were not this beautiful.

“I from yesterday noticed je when in the pool je skin is very charming from other girls.” Hanson said as he whispered in Nadia's ear then went down to kiss the girl's neck.

Nadia only shuddered in horror hoping that someone could help her, because the man's embrace was very tight making her body seem to freeze.

“Nadia!!” endah's voice shouted to him. 

“Shitt!! the inlander girl sucks, "She said Hanson was accompanied by a heavy snort for ruining her moment with this girl.

“Iya Brother!!” Nadia immediately broke free from Hanson's embrace while being off guard to get out to the door of the room, Endah stood up while breathing freely to see Nadia.

“Not Kak is still a little bit more,” said Nadia with a feeling of guilt for having to trouble Endah.

“Ya I helped cleanin come.” Endah pulled Nadia's hand and the fifteen-year-old girl just nodded.

Nadia and Endah cleaned the house after finishing Nadia kept quiet and held a smile about what happened earlier.

“Done also let's go to the kitchen already noon we have to prepare food for the soldiers.” Nadia agreed to Endah's invitation.

They went out of the house, but a man like a gardener came up to them, the man wears a headband and batik gloves accompanied by sleeveless shirt the man is an inlander who works as a gardener.

“Wait, Son!!” Nadia and Endah stopped their steps and turned towards the man.

“What's up, Sir?” ask Nadia.

“You two better not leave before Menner returns to this house.” Bendide was frightened as if he wanted to be cut off.

 “Sorry sir we still have many other tasks, namely preparing food for the soldiers.” Said Nadia who spoke as polite as possible.

“But I was afraid in--” had not had time the old man finished his sentence then someone with a foreign accent spoke loudly from the doorway.

 “Let them both go Marno,” as soon as the three look towards the voice.

It turned out that from the doorway a man in a shirt and military pants walked up to the three.

 Nadia saw Endah looking at Hanson with admiration while smiling shyly, but her heart also hurt as Hanson looked at Nadia with love. Poor endah just put on an ordinary facial expression.

 “Sorry Sinyo, but I just run the Menner.” command Said the lackey while looking down.

“Marno je quickly back to work!” hanson's orders.

“Good Sinyo me excuse me.” The bag walked in and out to the garden.

“Sinyo our---” Endah has not finished talking. “Je both want to cook for ik's men and Papa's ik! quickly go later ik tell Papa ik,” said Hanson. 

When Nadia and Endah wanted to open the gate, Hanson suddenly approached them.

“Wait!” Endah and Nadia immediately stopped their steps and turned their heads.

“What's Sinyo? wpa there's work we have to do again?” ask Endah.

“Nee...ik just want to know what is the name je?” Hanson held Nadia's hand.

Endah was immediately flabbergasted so was Nadia, “my name is Nadia, Sinyo.”  Nadia was very awkward the girl just lowered her head, in contrast to Hanson who immediately smiled a little.

Endah even furrowed his eyebrows, Nadia immediately looked at Endah and then turned towards the blonde.

“Sinyo sorry it's noon we have to go to the hut area immediately,” Nadia argued.

“Come Brother Endah,” invite Nadia while pulling right hand Endah.

“We excuse Sinyo,” say goodbye to both.

Arriving in the kitchen Endah and Nadia saw a car carrying the workers who contained the girls arrived in the field, the situation of the girls was very dirty because after coming from the field.

The girls immediately cleaned themselves in the pond, Nadia and Endah prepared the ingredients for cooking in the Spice Warehouse.

“Where were you?” asked Endah who opened the conversation first, Endah's hands were busy arranging things for cooking.

“Where? meaning Sister Endah what the hell?” asked Nadia who pretended not to know.

  “I mean while at his house Menner Willem.” Endah's question immediately made Nadia think hard, what is the right reason to say to Endah.

“So I was told by Sinyo to finish her shirt.” Quite a classic reason, but Endah believes.

Sinyo Hanson asked Nadia's name, because Nadia had been told by Hanson.

 The other girls were ready and there on the doorstep they all started questioning Nadia as well as Endah.

But Nadia and Endah answered casually while cooking.

“So we only do cleaning the house alone,” explained Endah casually.

The other girls turned to Endah who was busy processing spices, and Nadia who was preparing vegetables.

“How is his house?” ask one of the very young girls.

“Commonly,” replied Nadia who seemed unimpressed.

“It is better to quickly cook, before the soldier went berserk.” Nadia with a voice that did not like the actions of those who were curious. 

The girls immediately confirmed Nadia's remark and they continued cooking, Endah was surprised by Nadia's attitude that looks ketus actually he wanted to ask Nadia, but her work is not finished so she just works.

After the soldiers had finished eating the girls stared at the leftover food as usual activity, while eating a man who was none other than the gardener who was talking to Endah and Nadia this afternoon, approaching the dining table where Nadia and Endah were in a hurry, the other native girls saw him astonished.

“Pak Marno what is it?” tanya Nadia immediately stood followed by Endah and Lasmi.

“You both know this Mr?” show Lasmi. 

“This is Mr. Marno the gardener at the home of Menner Willem,” explained Endah.

 “What are you doing here?” ask Endah.

“I brought a message from Sinyo to tell, Nak Nadia.” Marno with a breath.

“Tell me? Am I assigned tomorrow to clean the house again?” asked Nadia who stood up while frowning her forehead in astonishment.

“Iya Nak, and Sinyo asks that Nadia tomorrow morning directly meet Sinyo no need to cook for the soldiers.”

“Iya thanks Pak info, tomorrow I meet Sinyo Sis Endah,” said Nadia took drinking water and handed it to Marno who looked exhausted.

“Do not Nadia,” prevent Marno with fear. Endah, Lasmi, and Nadia immediately widened their eyes on their faces immediately looking surprised.

 “Finely, Nak Nadia met Sinyo alone.” Endah felt that there would be bad things happening, on the other hand Lasmi was very unhappy with this. It was clearly visible on the middle-aged man's face was drawn in fear.

“Iya, sir tomorrow at dawn I meet Sinyo at her house.” Nadia immediately sat back to her seat followed by Endah and Lasmi.
