Chapter 135 - Such a family I want

The long-awaited day arrived, the grand opening of Naya's restaurant was now held. The name of the restaurant is NR combined 2 initials Naya and Richard.

The grand opening ended, they went to their homes. Naya and Richard went home.

Arriving home, Naya felt tired. He wants to rest.

"Sleep baby. Let my children take care of me" said Richard.

"really?" Richard also nodded. He let his wife sleep in the room, while he took care of his three children in the living room. Fortunately, the twins were already asleep, so Richard would not be overwhelmed as he only took care of Elnan.

Richard played with his son until they both fell asleep in the living room.

Nicolas visits Denada's house again after Denada returns home from the grand opening of Naya's restaurant. He wants to meet and play with his son and that is sure to captivate his son's mother as well.

"Why did you leave?" ask Denada.

"I'm not ready yet" replied Nicolas.

"Hm, okay. Hope you're ready soon and your life will calm down. There is no past that continues to haunt us. The family will feel peaceful if the person in it is at peace with his past. Because such a family is what I want," Denada replied in response.

Nicolas' mind went blank. What was Denada saying a request he had to make to conquer Denada's heart? So, Denada would accept it if he had made peace with his past, what would it be like? Nicolas got his bright spot.

I'll make peace with Dena. But not now. I still need time. Hope your words won't change.

"What do you want to drink?" denada asked because Nicolas was silent.

"There is one" replied Nicolas.

"I'll take Ansel for a second. I'll come back with one drink for you." Nicolas also nodded.

"Please help papa to conquer your mama's heart again yes," Nicolas told Ansel hoping Ansel would understand.

Shortly thereafter, Denda came up with a cold syrup drink for Nicolas. Nicolas drank the syrup.

"Dena, please tell me all about you when you first conceived Ansel. I want to hear it," asked Nicolas.

"Do you really want to hear it? I'm afraid you'll feel even more guilty" Denada replied.

"It's okay. Because with that guilt, I'll fix everything. Just tell me."

Denada also told me what she experienced when she was pregnant. Starting from he lived in a house owned by his parents, his meeting with the sari, the lives of both of them, the family, to the point where Denada is always insulted by the neighbors and ends up being expelled from his own hometown and moved to a city full of dark memories.

Nicolas, who heard the story, became even more guilty. He has ruined people's lives. I don't think an apology will be enough.

"But you don't have to feel so guilty. I accepted it and faced it all with a big chest. Maybe it's a consequence of what I've done in the past. And now I can live quietly because it looks like the karma has paid off" Denada said.

Why is he so tough? What he faced was so heavy. Social sanctions are scarier than being held in prison. I promised Dena I'd make your life better.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry" said Nicolas. Denada nodded as well.

The two of them talked to each other again until they forgot about time. The night is coming, Nicolas is going home to his apartment. Unfortunately, the rain was so heavy with strong winds.
