Modern Women's Charm

Modern Women's Charm
Half Elves

Heavy rain still continues to pour the earth making uneven ground surface into a lot of water puddles instantly.

In low-level settlements, many residents in dilapidated homes do not have *****, so they used to throw away at the river or behind the bushes along the way.

Because of this, if the rain comes, it must be a pessimistic smell and unpleasant smell of dirt arise mixed into the air.

But after heavy rain flushed, the environment will be clean again and the air will be refreshed.

The heavy rain outside the hut could not bother Jean.

Currently in wet clothes that kept dripping water, Jean was in her dilapidated hut, she was embracing Juno's clothes that she had taken from the closet.

Jean's tears couldn't stop, she cried a mouthful, calling Juno's name.

"Juno, hiks hiks Juno sorry...."

Jean was so lost, she was really sad.

Indeed he was influenced by the memories of the original Jean and the feelings that arise from those memories.

But not only that, Marrissa was an orphan with no family, so when she became Jean and had Juno as her sister, she was very happy, she said, moreover, Juno is a caring sister and loves her brother very much.

Jean values her life now for having a family.

Juno made Jean not hate his crossing into this world.

So when she lost Juno and heard her sister had been sold by Roselia to the Vampire race, Jean could not stop her crying, the world seemed to stab her with thousands of knives.

Why once did he have a family that he wanted to be happy to have even been snatched from him like this.

First he was baited by Marco and Frank's group and this time his younger brother Juno had also been sold into slavery by Rosela.

Jean didn't accept it, she really didn't accept it.

Clasping Juno's clothes, Jean's brown eyes flashed sharply, and,

"I won't stay silent, I'll reply them, just wait!" inwardly Jean promised.

He will not let go of those who did evil to him or Juno.

Jean was so preoccupied with her thoughts that she did not care about the handsome man who was also in the hut.

The man wears a headscarf covering part of his face.

It was the handsome man who helped Jean to rise, not to curl miserably at the edge of the fence of the residence of the Eighth Wife of the Landlord.

That person was none other than Valir, well, he was Valir the Elf who drove Jean back to the city of Man.

Valir did not return to the forest, after Jean entered the gates of the great wall of the city of Man, not long after, Valir also entered using the identity of the hunter he had obtained from the clothes of hunters who had lived bones in the deep forest.

Badges of hunters or pickers are easy to find in the corners of the forest, because many humans who do not return when they are in the forest meet with wild animals.

Valir's goal is to get Jean back, one of which is to ascertain Jean's identity, whether she really is Vin's daughter.

Upon entering the great wall, Valir does not follow Jean anymore, but searches for information from the black market information center in the human city.

From there Valir finds the answers he's looking for, there's population data including data from Vin that turns out to be known as Ethan in the human city, he has an unclear origin, but it was disguised because he was a mid-level lackey.

Looking at the Vin or Ethan family information, Ethan has a daughter named Jeane Ethaniv and more surprisingly there is also a boy named Junort Ethaniv.

Jean is Vin's daughter, Valir just found out Vin also has one more child, Juno Jean's sister.

From the information data it clarifies Jean's identity, but Valir actually still needs one more test to really ascertain the identity and trust fully Jean as Vin's daughter.

But for now Valir chose to find Jean's whereabouts first.

Before Valir had followed Jean to his house which was only a small hut, he did not check again if there were other residents in the hut because he had to return to the Elf forest.

Naturally Valir did not know of Juno's whereabouts inside the hut.

Valir did not head towards Jean's hut, but went the other way, towards the residence of Mean's Eighth wife the Landlord.

It was easy for Valir to find Jean's position because he once put the seeds of the vines in Jean's hair as a marker.

The seeds were very small and attached to Jean's hair, not easily separated and not easily known to exist as a marker tool.

Upon arriving, Valir goes into hiding and witnesses Jean arguing with the housekeeper until the arrival of Mean, the eighth wife of the Landlord, and Jean's expulsion.

Listening to Jean's anger and rage, Valir learns that Jean's sister has been sold into the Vampire race as a slave.

Valir was very regretful about it, he suspected Loris' collection in the sky last night, also took Juno's sister Jean away.

It was raining so hard, Jean curled up not wanting to get up even though her body was raining.

Unable to bear seeing her, Valir approached Jean and persuaded her to get up and leave the place to take shelter.

"Jean, get up, it's raining down here, let's just shush, Jean...." Valir's words were not heard by Jean.

Jean just cried no matter who was in front of her.

In the human city of Valir, not daring to easily cast plant magic, he holds Jean in his arms and takes her to the small hut where Jean lives.

Right now that Valir was on his back by Jean, he was staring at the dark green crystal stone in his hand, it was only the size of a thumb, only at this moment did the stone appear to shine from within yet it was only a dim light.

That crystal stone was an energy stone from the outer bark of the tree of life that was at the center of the Elf forest.

The energy stone function can detect the energy of the earth being sucked up then re-emitted by the elves.

That radiant energy is called magic energy.

Such magic energy could only be emitted by pure blood Elves or mixed blood Elves commonly called Half Elves.

Jean was of mixed blood, so she belonged to the Half Elf type.

Hence the light rays on the energy crystal only lit up dimly not as bright as pure-blooded Elves like Valir and Vedis.

Even so, at least it can ensure Jean's identity as clearly as possible if she is indeed the daughter of an Elf named Vin.

Valir stared in focus at Jean who was still shaken crying a mouthful.

"Vin I found your daughter." Inner Valir.
