The journey could not continue at night, but fortunately Jean and Valir were already out of the X forest area before the darkness came.

They are tonight resting on the tree trunk, Valir has grown giant leafy vines as a foothold and resting place on the tree, as a safety he also grows hard and strong plant tendrils.

Valir uses the same embroidery method as Vedis. But this time the tendrils of the plant were made in a semicircle surrounding them.

The embroidery was busier and more tightly packed until they could not be seen from the outside.

With the padded and comfortable mat of the leaves of the plant Jean still could not sleep well.

So many thoughts in his mind, he thought a lot about what had happened today, plus anything else that bothered him a lot.

How could he sleep soundly in one cramped space with a male elf as handsome as Valir?

Jean turned her head, she saw Valir had closed his eyes, his breathing was light and orderly, it seemed like he had slept well.

In Jean's eyes, Valir was a very good looking figure to her.

He had been saved by the man many times.

Jean was confused as to what kind of return to Valir.

In this world Jean had nothing of value except her body.

It happened to give the precious thing to Valir, but Jean dismissed his stupid thoughts.

How could an Elf race as handsome as Valir be willing to accept such a return.

Moreover, in this world humans were considered the lowest and weakest race.

Jean closed her eyes and slept.

The next day they continued their journey through the deep forest.

In the inner forest was very different from the X forest, here not too often encountered powerful ferocious beasts.

As Vedis's food supply runs out, Valir invites Jean to search for food in the forest.

"This Tar fruit, this fruit has a little water content but fills the stomach longer. This fruit can also be used as a diarrhea medicine." Valir explained the usefulness of the bright red Tar fruit about the size of a mini sapodilla fruit.

"Don't eat the fruit, it looks delicious but it's poisonous, you can die of suffocation if you dare to eat it." Valir helps Jean recognize fruits that can be eaten.

Somehow Jean felt Valir was a bit different, he wasn't as cute as he used to be when talking to her.

Elves are creatures that are close to nature and are accustomed to living in nature, in forests.

Jean needed a lot of knowledge to grow live in the forest, because now Valir is open to forest science, Jean is so excited.

"Have you ever seen a fireflower plant?" Jean asked.

"Well, what's up with that plant?"

"I heard that plant has a lot of fire ants around it, do you know how to overcome fire ants to be able to pick up fire seeds more easily?" Jean wanted to extract useful knowledge from Valir.

The journey became an active question and answer session that sometimes interspersed with encounters with wild animals.

Now that Jean was no longer afraid to look down from the top of the tree, she no longer closed her eyes as they ascended or descended the tree.

Because they walked in the deep forest, Jean often found high-priced plants or fruit there.

Of course Jean's hand wouldn't miss picking a plant she could carry, but for a rare plant Jean wouldn't dare to pick it up.

When he already had a safe sales or money exchange line, there would be times when he could pick as many rare plants as he wanted.

Their journey is fairly fast in one day they have crossed the inner forest and outer forest.

Only tomorrow the journey continues again just through the forest periphery, then they have arrived at the intersection of the walls of the human city.

As Jean waits for Valir to build a temporary nest for their rest today, a noisy sound is seen from the sky.

Even though the night was full of darkness, with the help of moonlight Jean could still see the origin owner of the noisy sounds from the sky.

A group of bird-like animals with wide wings were passing over the sky.

The noise is like the sound of bats that Marrissa often hears in horror movies.

"Valir, what animal is that?" Jean asked curiously.

Valir's face looked bad, though,

"Loris, they're night animals that the Vampire Race used to ride."

"Vampire Ras? " Jean widened his eyes.

In Jean's original memory, he had only heard stories of the Vampire race from his late father.

The Vampire race is said to be a blood-eating race. They can only eat the blood of living things. They are fierce, dangerous, and playful. Better to stay away if you meet them.

The Marrissa of the many Vampire movies she watched, the Vampire could get burned if exposed to the sunlight and the person they bit her throat would become a Vampire as well. But it seemed like it was different from the Vampires in this world.

"Let it go, no need to look at it. They're just passing by." Valir finally finished making their break room.

Jean turned her gaze away from the sight of Loris' group in the sky and entered the nest that Valir had built.

Jean must go to bed soon to have her energy full for their final journey tomorrow through the fringe forest.

He could not wait to meet Juno soon.

If the plants that Jean got were already exchanged for money, Jean could not wait to see the face of Juno's sumringah that she was about to take a big meal with.

Juno's teenage son in Marrissa's home world is no one as straight as Juno, according to Juno even lacks Nutrition.

So Jean has a plan to improve Juno's nutrition and change their life levels for the better.

"Juno, wait a minute for Brother to return." Jean smiled and closed her eyes in deep sleep.
