Being late to realize

" Vale" calls the woman who walks down the stairs with her face covered in sleep.

" oh hay Hannah "reply vale while putting the thought of pancakes on a round table with four seats, ' he said ,

" do I disturb your sleep ? " he asked again after the virang-haired woman stood not far from him.

Hannah shook her head "is there anything I can help "

" No, sit sweet in your chair" Vale said, pointing to the dining table.

" you really treat me like a guest "grunts Hannah but still obey Vale's orders by sitting on the dining table chair "the smell of your pancakes is tempting " hannah said with a nose sniffing the sweet scent of pandanus from the pancakes in front of her.

" Eat" said Vale, who then placed a glass of berry juice in front of Hannah "before you drink the aroma" Vale advised Hannah " the color is beautiful "said Hannah staring at the purple liquid inside the glass, she did as Vale suggested by bringing the glass tip closer to her sharp nose " the aroma really calms " continued Hannah

" Yes, the smell was able to lighten the stitches and I purposely made it for you" explained Vale who was already sitting in the chair facing Hannah.

" What looks so obvious, when I tried to hide it" Hannah laughed and continued to sip the berry scent with her nose

" you're human not Hannah's angel" Vale said

" there's no way you're gonna be okay after something like last night" Vale continued, staring deeply at Hannah

" Stop discussing it Vale , I don't want the atmosphere this morning to be ruined just because of remembering the incident" Hannah said with a sad look "well enjoy your breakfast " said Vale who immediately understood Hannah's feelings "thank you, your best juice" Hannah said with her thumb pointing at Vale.

" What are your plans today ? " ask Vale in between enjoying breakfast "Come on, maybe I'll come home to my house "

" Go home "repeat Vale and Hannah nodded doubtfully.

" This is where until conditions improve 'nobody knows where I live including caren "pinta Vale" I can't possibly continue to trouble you Vale" said Hannah smiling

" Am I someone else to you ? " ask Vale with a slight increase in her tone

" of course not, you've been like a brother to me Vale, but that doesn't have to keep me from bothering you" Hannah explained.

" I don't feel bothered, I'm glad you're here "obviously Vale "living alone in a house this big is very sad hannah" she said softly with a lowered face.

" I have to take my clothes" Hannah said

" Are you going to stay here ? " ask Vale with a cheerful back face.

" Maybe for a while "obviously Hannah laughed and Vale's face returned moody "well, most importantly these few days you stayed here " said Vale who ate no spirit on his homemade pancakes .

Elin's eyes widened, staring at the alroji in her hand with a clock that had shown the number seven "I always forgot the time " he said that he had just realized that he had spent more than 8 hours in the library, Elin immediately cleaned up the thick book in front of him , his lip line was implied as he stared at the results of his hard work today "this looks much better" he said again by staring so closely at some design sketches he made on white paper.

" Baad Alright , take a moment I'm done and will give you good food " muttered Elin on her stomach.

kruukk kruukkk "the sound of Elin's hungry stomach that goes back to "stop ringing, do you want to embarrass me " elin muttered in annoyance and stared at the surroundings to make sure no one heard the embarrassing sound coming out of his stomach.

He immediately rushed to tidy up all the books in front of him and put important objects into his tote bag.

Elin was already in an online taxi that was about to take her home to Leonard Street , she rested her tired body on the seatback and stared at the glittering lights of New York City from the car window.

He gasped for a moment to realize something was missing and quickly searched for his flat object in the bag.

" Is she still sleeping "s mumbling Elin with the cellphone she pointed at her ear and the phone call that is still unanswered.

Twice he repeated his phone call to Daniel, but the man seemed very busy and let his call , Elin presses the red button to stop the phone call she keeps trying on daniel .

" What are you doing ? and I'm sorry I just got in touch with you, I always forget the time I was in the library "he explained in the message he just sent Daniel , and back to lean his back on the chair and stare at the side of the road filled with people passing by.

Suddenly his enlarged eyes stared at the Billboard installed in the middle of New York City, New York , the distance is still very far from the place elin but because the size of the billboard is too large with the light rays that illuminate it makes the big picture look so clear from any angle especially at night.

Elin tightened the glasses she was using to clarify what she was looking at right now, her heart beating faster as she stared at the picture of two people on the billboard.

" Are my glasses in trouble" he said with trembling lips and removed his glasses to clean with the tip of the shirt he was wearing,

elin put his glasses back together again but his heart was beating irregularly, his glasses were really no problem he still saw the big billboard with the same image.

" Do you also admire the couple" said the taxi driver who has since seen Elin's behavior from the rearview mirror in the car that leads to his seat.

" Return Elin's partner with a little breath he held, " oh forgive me for interrupting, I think you're looking at that big billboard " politely say taxi driver.

" it's okay sir, but I was looking at the billboard" Elin explained

Elin took her breath so deeply, she just felt like she was struck by lightning during the day , his heart was beating irregularly with a body that felt stiff because it was so distrustful of what he had just heard.

" thank you sir" said Elin with a voice that was increasingly shaking, repeatedly he sighed to relieve the tightness in his chest , but again and again he had to accept the fact that he was between Daniel and Hannah, and elin was really late to realize this.
