The healing process of Fiona

Fiona's consciousness came and went during the first few days of her body starting the slow process of wound healing. The stab wound caused the girl to lose the lobe under her lungs and a small piece of kidney. Fortunately the dagger was in damaged tissue that had to be removed to stop the bleeding.

Fiona has been transferred to the VIP room for four days. During that time, Dave never left Fiona's side at all. Tommy regularly visits Fiona every day before leaving for the office or after returning from the office. Tommy's caring attitude, somehow makes Dave grateful and resentful because of jealousy.

Fiona's eyes opened weakly and she looked for Dave. It turned out that Dave was asleep with his head under the feet of the bed and his body sitting on a chair, next to Fiona's bed. Fiona felt pity because her husband always accompanied her and became exhausted. Fiona is afraid that Dave will also be sick because he always takes care of himself.

Fiona tried to sit on her bed. His two hands were still weak, trying to support his body. Fiona's body grew thin from her bronchitis and injuries. After successfully sitting down, rubbed Dave's hair gently. Wipe Fiona's hand into Dave's hair, apparently waking the man from his sleep.

"You look a little better today, baby!" dave said as he moved closer to Fiona.

"Promotion's slow. I'm bored here." said Fiona.

Dave's thumb rubbed Fiona's full lips softly and gently. Recalling the girl's response the night before she was stabbed made her excited. So much did Dave regret that there was no room to contain all his regrets.

"Your sleep isn't good, is it baby? There's a dark circle under your eyes!"

Fiona laughed a little. "If I could get out of this bed, the man who stabbed me would also have dark circles in his eyes but that's not because he's sleep-deprived!"

"Tommy was working with the police and also paid a private detective to arrest the man. If the man was caught, he would definitely be imprisoned for a very long time!" dave said explaining to Fiona.

Fiona's dark eyes look around Dave's eyes, and hold Dave's face.

"Tommy said, you can't sleep, can't eat! I also spent a lot of time in the chapel praying!"

Dave's gaze turned to a distant wall. " Fiona, don't be like this again. I'm so tormented, baby! I can't live without you. I thought I'd lose you forever!"

Dave leaned over groaning and pressed his lips hard on Fiona's forehead. Fiona who was still too weak and tired lay back on the bed.

"Darling, I think I'm gonna take a little nap. Don't leave me alone!" fiona Pinta.

"No, baby! I'll never leave you. Sleep well, my love! I will always take care of you!"

Dave could not bear the pain given Fiona's state right after the dagger pierced through her body. When the nurse comes to clean Fiona's wound and change her bandage, Dave can see how big and deep the wound caused by the dagger's stab. Also, the girl will now have a scar that Dave will always remember for life. It should be him who should get the wound, because Simon has a grudge against him and Tommy. But Fiona, this innocent girl has to bear her wounds for us. Although the dagger does not stab Dave, Dave's heart aches to remember the moment he felt he would lose Fiona forever.

Dave leaned over and shifted his soft lips over Fiona's dry lips, gulping in warmth in silence. Dave's gaze was intense and tormented, fixed on Fiona's pale face. But Fiona is already falling asleep, unaware of Dave's guilt-ridden and loving gaze towards her.

Moments after Fiona falls asleep, Tommy comes from the office. The exhausted Tommy sat on a long sofa located near the entrance.

"How is he doing?"

"It's good enough, but still not stable. He had just fallen asleep because of the pain medication given by the nurse. What's the news from the office?"

"Not much. I'm busy preparing all the papers because tomorrow's Lana's first trial! I'll ask to see him tonight if he wants to."

Just saying that word, the door of the VIP room was knocking. Lana opened the door and entered. Lana brought a very beautiful bouquet of flowers and handed it to Dave. In her other hand, Lana was carrying a basket full of fruits.

"Hello. Sorry, am I interrupting?"

Tommy looked at the girl in disbelief as the girl was standing before him. Whether what happened to Tommy, in the hoses of his very busy time, Tommy felt the longing to be close to the girl. Especially if the night has come, Tommy will try hard to sleep, but the figure of Lana is always present there and make him unable to sleep. Tommy groaned and loosened the tie that felt like it was strangling his neck.

"How is he doing? Has it improved?"

"Yes, there's been good progress. But it's still not stable!"

"Oh, praise God!" lana said sincerely.

Dave approaches Lana to pick up a bouquet of flowers and move them to a vase filled with water. While the basket was full of various fruits, Lana put it on the table in front of the sofa. Tommy looked and looked into Lana's eyes.

"Are you ready for the first trial tomorrow?"

"I think I'm ready. I know you'll try your best."

"Tomorrow if any words corner you from the defense attorney, don't be swayed. You need to stay calm. Remember you have me!"

Lana stared and tried to digest Tommy's words "Remember you have me!". What do those words mean? lana in the heart.

"I was just about to call you when you came. I was gonna ask if you have time tonight?"

"Time for what?"

"To explain what are the possibilities that will happen tomorrow. I'm sorry if I look like I'm lacking preparation. But believe me, I've prepared everything even though my work piles up!"

Lana looks at Tommy's handsome face but looks very tired. His sympathy came from the bottom of Lana's heart.

"Have you eaten? Will you accompany me to eat?" lana asked gently to signify the truce between herself and Tommy.

"Not eaten!"

Tommy asks Dave, "Have you eaten, bro?"

Dave, who hasn't eaten yet, feels he has to lie to let Lana and Tommy have some time together. She would order food online so that she would not have to leave Fiona either. Fiona will panic if Dave leaves her just for dinner together with Tommy and Lana.

"Had eaten. I was trying to feed Fiona a spoonful of two spoons. So I finished the food. You go! Besides, if Fiona wakes up and doesn't find me, she's gonna freak out!" obviously Dave.

Tommy stood up and picked up the suit he had removed and placed it on the sofa when he arrived.

"Then let's go!" bring Tommy.

Lana nods to Tommy and says goodbye to Dave.

"Then, excuse me. If I'm happy, I'll come see you another day!"

"come. We'll be happy if you want to come!" reply Dave.

Tommy opens the door and waits for Lana to go with him. The two of them had already left the VIP room and headed to the car.
