Two weeks into a coma? How is Keiko? I left it too long.
His inner turmoil made Anthonino even more impatient to meet his wife but this time Anthonino held back his patience as Philip returned to the room with Zacky to check on her condition. Anthonino continued to take turns staring at Phillip, Livia and Zacky with his eyes implying deep worry.
“Your progress is quite big thankfully you realize, if you do not wake up after one month of falling asleep you may sleep even longer. Your bones will soon improve after the physiotherapist handles you,” said Dr. Zacky.
“I don't care how about my bones, I just want to meet my wife.” Anthonino hardened his jaw.
Looking at her daughter-in-law who kept insisting Livia open her voice, “Nino, your wife is fine you can you can meet her after your circumstances are better.”
Anthonino closed his eyes tightly and opened them. Everyone in this room was like he was keeping something from him and he was the only fool who knew nothing. “Mommy, I want to meet Keiko and my son right now,” the door in a low tone.
“Honey, you're not even allowed to get out of bed. Trust Mommy, your wife and child are fine,” Livia.
For the first time in his life Anthonino felt himself completely worthless for being unable to do anything about it, his left hand wrapped in a cast, his right foot as well. In the mind Anthonino thought if logically he had such severe injuries what about Keiko's slim body? He could not imagine his frail-looking wife was of course more severely broken than he was.
Anthonino let out a breath that felt very heavy. “Please meet me with my wife and child.” Again he pleaded because he really wanted to meet his wife.
Doctor Zacky stared at Livia at a glance then the man nodded his head. “You can meet him at two o'clock. You certainly need to fill your body with food because you've been asleep for the name of two weeks, you also have to think of yourself,” he said.
Hearing Zacky seeming to trouble him Anthonino began to lose his temper. “What exactly are you hiding? You guys didn't hear me? I want to meet my wife and son.” Anthonino's voice tone was rising.
He tried to change his position to sit in favor of Zacky.
“They are fine, why are you so stubborn and distrustful of us? After you fill your stomach the nurse will immediately deliver you to meet your wife,” said Zacky who looked upset because his best friend was so stubborn.
Livia and Zacky came out of the room, leaving Philips still sitting quietly on one of the couches in the room there was no conversation between them until Livia returned with a waiter and who brought food for Anthonino.
“You have to fill your stomach Mommy every day making you soup just in case, when you wake up you can just eat it,” Livia said as she scooped the soup out of the bowl. It looks like the soup is steaming a sign that the temperature is still too hot. Livia blew it a few times. “Because you've been asleep for too long if you eat something heavy straight away your stomach could be surprised. Let's open your mouth,” said Livia.
“Mommy, I can eat by myself.” Anthonino was uncomfortable with his mother-in-law's treatment being so kind to him.
Livia laughed. “Your hand is sick and your hand is infused. How can you eat by yourself? Let's not be stubborn, open your mouth,” persuade Livia as if she persuaded a child.
Anthonino secretly glanced at the face of his mother-in-law who was a replica of his wife, he felt de javu's feelings. A few weeks ago he was sick and cared for by his wife, now he is lying on a patient bed and cared for by his mother-in-law.
Damn you Nameera none of this would have happened if you hadn't been theatrical about coming to our residence and begging for protection!
“Sorry for what?”
“Sorry because I can't take good care of your daughter,” Anthonino said.
Livia put the bowl in her hand on the nightstand next to the patient's bed and then she took a glass filled with water. “You love him well. Don't worry and don't think too much, now drink.” Livia patiently gave Anthonino a drink from a glass.
The good treatment of his wife's family made both eyelids hot, he felt very moved because his wife's family was right to accept it as it is. Even when he was slandered by Lidya, his father-in-law said nothing. Her father-in-law just said give Keiko time to be alone, after that persuade Keiko properly because a woman would want to be seduced and chased. His father-in-law did not ask the truth of the videos and photos circulating and the slander directed at him.
The entire Yamada family is really kind-hearted, they have apparently acted themselves investigating the truth of the video footage in the hallway of the hotel room without Anthonino asking.
After finishing his meal the antonym rushed to charge to meet his wife who was already impatient to meet his wife Philip finally relented he called a nurse to provide a wheelchair then he helped Anthonino to get out of bed and sit in his wheelchair. The nurse slowly pushed Anthonino towards the room where Keiko was. Samantha who was putting some shopping bags on the table stopped her activities and came out of the room following Philip, she should not be there because there would definitely be family talks.
Seeing the scene presented before his eyes made Anthonino's throat feel choked. His heart was broken to pieces watching his wife lying on the bed, next to the bed the patient looked as if his father-in-law was sitting while holding the palm of his only daughter. Keiko's face was not pale, he looked fresh and fell asleep peacefully.
The nurse pushed down Anthonino's wheelchair until now he was right next to the one where Naoki was sitting. The nurse immediately retreated a little bit away while Livia replaced the nurse position she was standing behind in the wheelchair that was sitting on Anthonino stage saying nothing. Some time the three of them fell silent into each other's thoughts until Anthonino opened his voice, “how is my wife?”
Anthonino, put down his daughter's palm carefully. “Your wife is fine, the content is also safe. No one gets hurt one you don't worry,” replied Anthonino as one palm stroked his daughter's forehead.
“Then why didn't he open his eyes?” There was a slight tinge of emotion tucked inside the question that Anthonino was asking.
“Your wife is still asleep,” replied Naoki in a calm tone. Very calm even her lips flattened a thin smile.
Anthonino was unable to hold back his tears that were pressing out. How could his wife sleep that long? Just a moment ago he was happy to be moved by the affection of his in-laws and now his feelings turn to be very painful seeing the state of his wife. Not only his wife, seeing the sadness of his father-in-law who tried to be closely hidden made the inner Anthonino more sick. The man had to watch his daughter 'sleep' for so long, now he knows what it's like to be a parent who worries about his child.
Anthonino's jaw hardened, his palm clenched. “I won't let go of you Nameera if anything happens to my son and wife,”.
“N—nameera?” Livia asked.
Naoki's body stiffened, he glanced at Anthonino at a glance then he got up from his seat in a very calm motion. “Let's take Nino's time to be together with Keiko,” Naoki said as he grabbed his wife's palm and took her away from the room.
