Ch.43 - Hope Eterna D. Valonian

Eterna is shocked to not believe that with the level of Cyrus, a 204-level creature can break the illusion of one of the 10th generation heads of the Valonia family.

It should only be a creature level 500 and above that can survive in the illusion magic of the Valonia family. Although the trapped creatures of illusion magic had levels 500 and above, they would not make it out easily, even until one was killed inside the illusion magic belonging to the Valonia family.

“Why were you surprised after hearing my level?” ask Cyrus to be confused.

“No, young man. Please continue your absorption process..”.

Eterna did not want to show the weakness of his family's illusory magic, however, he did not want to feel ashamed in front of the youngster who was still level 204.

Not long after, Cyrus proceeded to the 9th coffin to obtain the abundant Exp to keep getting stronger.

In the coffin that next Cyrus saw a coffin patterned two long swords crossed each other like a symbol ‘X’.

This time before Cyrus unseals the coffin, Eterna explains the identity of the 9th coffin. “This 9th generation is the personal servant of the 9th generation demon king Charlotte, he is a demon swordsman with two swords.” He said as he pointed at the sword-patterned coffin.

Expressionless Cyrus replied, “Hm... Is this time the test an illusion too?” he is not interested in his skills. Cyrus was only interested in the abundant Exp.

“True, but it seems like it's impossible for you..”.

“Why?” cyrus answered quickly.

Proudly Eterna said, “Because in the illusion you have to fight and win it, so that you can get out of the illusion and absorb the benefits of the soul.”

Without thinking, Cyrus immediately tried to read the ancient writings written clearly with the ancient language. “Surya D. Valonia, server...” Cyrus' speech was cut by Eterna, “Wait, not me presumptuous.. but your level and my 9th generation are completely different.” Eterna said with a position of respect to Cyrus.

The double level difference made Cyrus a little hesitant, because the original nature of the devil was greedy and he wanted the strength to take revenge, he asked Qwerty.

Since Cyrus had obtained the full assurance of Qwerty's safety, he continued his conversation with Eterna, “Quietly…” Said Cyrus with his calm demeanor.

Eterna fell silent and Cyrus recited the spell written on the coffin with two swords.

“Surya D. Valonia, servant of the 9th generation demon lord. By permission Lucifer seal open.”

The same incident as before reoccurred, with a different scene that Cyrus now saw.

Cyrus had seen the beautiful scenery in the forest before, while this time he saw the scenery inside the battlefield.

Only one demon remained standing firmly among the thousands of corpses lying around him, none other than Surya D. Valonian. Using two long swords that look exactly like the picture in the coffin.

Just a few meters away, the two of them faced each other amidst the thousands of bloodied corpses.

“Fight with me to death.” shouted Surya while raising the position of his two swords.

“Come here..” answered Cyrus with a flat and calm face.

“Bocahh's…. A weak devil like you.. Dare to challenge me.” Surya replied with a shout while running towards Cyrus, then he continued his words. “Devil is weak like you, unworthy of arrogance in front of me.. die..”.

Cyrus was shocked when a bloodthirsty killing aura burst out from Surya's body. The extremely suffocating aura of breathing made Cyrus feel a little worried about what he had to do to dodge the attack.

Cyrus tried to run away from the demonic figure holding two swords in her hands, but Cyrus realized that her body was unable to move due to the negative effects of the illusionary magic.

“No way, why my body can't move... Qwerty help me...” said Cyrus in a slight panic.

Cyrus realized Surya's power was terrifying, even just feeling his killing aura alone he could understand how powerful his ancestor's personal servant was.

[Qwerty detects danger. Do you want to get out of the illusion? ]

“Ya, Fast..”.

[ 5%... 50%... 75%... 100% ]

Once again Cyrus woke up unconscious from his subconscious due to the attack of illusion magic belonging to the Valonia family with ease.

[Getting 3,000,000 Exp. ]

[Getting 1 demon soul. ]

[ Level up. ]

[ Level up. ]

….

….

It only takes a few minutes for Cyrus to escape the illusion. The magic drove Eterna even crazier thinking about how Cyrus would defeat Surya D. Valonia who had a higher level than him.

“Ba-how is possible..impossible..” With a astonished look Eterna said.

Something called impossible for all beings, did not apply to Cyrus.

Cyrus gets Exp from the soul not because he has to fight and kill, but must get out of the illusion magic belonging to the Valonia family.

The test on the second floor is easy for Cyrus because he gets help from Qwerty who always protects Cyrus' body and soul to stay alive.

Since Cyrus did not want to waste time, he now proceeded to the next coffin.

The 8th generation coffin was patterned in smoke. The owner has magic power that can emit poisonous fumes that are very deadly.

The next incident was exactly the same as before and Cyrus managed to get the Exp and Level just a few minutes easily, without having to get physical injuries or mental disorders in the slightest.

An hour had passed, and Cyrus had now passed the test of the nine souls sealed within the coffin easily. For an hour, Cyrus only heard voices from Qwerty about getting millions of Exp and Levep ups over and over again.

Until now it was time for Cyrus to pass the test to absorb the soul of Eterna D. Valonian.

“What is this coffin yours?” cyrus asked Eterna while pointing at the last coffin on the second floor.

“True, the crate is mine..”.

Cyrus scratched her head while thinking, “Hmm... If I manage to absorb your soul, who is guiding me to proceed to the third and fourth floors?” he said with a relaxed face.

“If you manage to absorb all the souls on this floor, all the illusions here will disappear and later you will find a ladder to go to the next floor.”

Cyrus smiled broadly at the soul figure named Eterna, “Thank you for accompanying me in this tomb, do you have a final request?”

Eterna was surprised to hear Cyrus saying, she did not expect the young and powerful demon figure beyond reason to ask about her last wish.

Suddenly Eterna knelt respectfully before Cyrus and said, “Thank you young master. I only have two requests, first one is please realize the dream of lord Lucifer, please, second is please protect and take care of my descendants who are still alive out there.” Eterna said with hope that Cyrus would accept the last two requests.

“Alright, but I will not hesitate to kill your descendants who betrayed me..” Cyrus said with a gaze of reply.

Eterna looked at Cyrus in the face with pleasure, “Again thanks young master, I would be happy if you punish those who dare to betray the Charlotte family.”
