Ch.36 - Hanz's death

After a while, Eliza begins to question the evil behind Cyrus. ‘Who is he? I've never seen it before?” eliza said quietly near Cyrus' ear.

“His name is Mino and who he is for, you'll find out later.”

After hearing Cyrus' answer, Eliza now observes from a distance Mino's entire body from toe to toe out of curiosity about Mino's true identity.

It felt awkward between Eliza and Mino, until Eliza dared herself to introduce herself. “My name is Eliza Charlotte, just call me Eliza.” she said gently.

Mino replied, “The noble king gave me the name Mino.”

After the two of them exchanged names and had some unimportant conversations with Cyrus, Eliza went to rest due to exhaustion.

“Cyrus, I slept with you.” Eliza used a spoiled pitched voice as usual.

Cyrus did not reject Eliza's remark, “Alright, you go to bed first. I have a little business.“ replied Cyrus in a flat tone.

In the middle of the night when Eliza fell asleep, Cyrus was preparing her clothes. A long robe with a dark black color and a piece of cloth to cover his face.

“Mino, you stay on guard here and protect Eliza.” Cyrus sent orders over telepathically because she did not want Eliza to wake up from her sleep.

“Good, your majesty.” replied Mino respectfully via telepathy.

After preparing some of his equipment, Cyrus now went out of the palace through the window of his room. With a sneak to avoid the palace guards in the dark of night he managed to get out of the royal palace.

Now Cyrus is outside the gate, “Baguss.. Now I need Qwerty's help to find Hanz.”'s residence.

[Detecting duke Hanz's residence. 25%... 50%... 100% ]

[ Successfully. Please follow the instructions Qwerty has shown in the System map. ]

Seen in Cyrus's eyes an arrow indicates the direction towards the Hanz residence, of course this arrow is only Cyrus who can see it.

It took only a few moments for Cyrus to find the Hanz residence, as the duke's residence was only a few tens of kilometers away from the palace.

With expertise and experience in the past, Cyrus easily passed the guard of the duke's residence and managed to escape entering Hanz's private room.

It was seen by Cyrus that Hanz was fast asleep with his wife. Without waiting for a long time, Cyrus pulled the Soul Eater and ruled to kill him.

“Kill the man.just the man and don't make a sound.” Cyrus said using telepathy.

Soul Eater flew quickly and managed to kill Hanz without making Hanz's wife wake up, as Cyrus also used her blood magic to silence her body. Hanz died in an instant without making any movement or screaming in pain.

After being completely lifeless, this time Cyrus uses her blood magic to damage Hanz's brain so that it cannot be detected by the royal witch about the traces that can harm Cyrus. As little as a hint can uncover who the perpetrator of this murder is.

The wall clock kept turning, the sun had risen and was emitting the scorching heat of the sun. “Cyrus... wake up.. there is sad news!” A loud voice that sounded in the ears made Cyrus wake up from her sleep.

Cyrus opened her eyes slowly, seeing that the figure of Eliza's face had now returned to normal. “Ahh... I'm tired, Eliza.” Cyrus replied half-consciously.

“Duke Hanz has died.. Now the whole kingdom is in a fuss with this news.”.

Without waiting for a long time, news of Hanz's death had spread widely throughout the Red Blood kingdom because Hanz was an important demon in this kingdom.

“True... Right now everyone is talking about who the perpetrator of Hanz's murder is. I really did not expect, but yesterday we were joking with him in the park.” Eliza said in a sad tone.

“Already, don't think too much. Maybe it's time he died.” Answer Cyrus calmly.

As the two of them were talking about Hanz, the sound of knocking on the room door sounded. “Tok... tok... tok... young master.” voice of the royal servant calls Cyrus.

“Ya.. what's up?” answer without opening the door.

“The noble king called the young master and also Miss Eliza, he was waiting in his throne room.”

“Alright, you can go.” Cyrus answered while rushing in royal clothes and rushing away from her room. As Cyrus was about to open the door of the room, Eliza said. “I'm coming..” he said as he walked after Cyrus from behind.

After a while, Cyrus and Eliza have arrived at the throne room. Inside the room contained only the family of Charlotte and Arthur loyal devotee.

“What did grandpa call me?” cyrus said calmly as she walked over to Cleo.

Cleo put her right hand on her forehead with a stressed face, “Huft... It's only been a few days here that you've made a big mess, Cyrus.”.

Cyrus only replied with a small smile while tidying up her hair that had been tidy since. Only Eliza here does not know the meaning of Cleo's words, while the entire Charlotte family gathered and Arthur, previously they have predicted and convinced that Hanz's death was Cyrus's action.

Then Cleo summoned the demon who was one of her right hands to take care of the internal of the kingdom and she lowered her head, “With the death of duke Hanz this morning, he said, it has been stated that Eliza Charlotte officially did not betray the Charlotte family.”

Eliza was surprised to be happy with her grandfather's words, she did not expect to get good news and bad news simultaneously at one time.

Cyrus said as she looked at Eliza who looked very happy, “From now on, no one dared to call you a traitor.” Cyrus said with a smile.

With happy reflexes Eliza hugged Cyrus quickly. The entire Charlotte family was happy, especially Jessica and Henry who are Eliza's biological parents.

While Eliza was hugging Cyrus, Qwerty's voice was heard in Cyrus' head repeatedly.

Cyrus smiled, “Ah.. asked if they were practicing.” Cyrus said in her heart.

After a while a happy atmosphere occurred, Cleo said. “You can go, I have to take care of Hanz's death and find a new duke for this kingdom.”   

All left Cleo's room except Arthur.

“Your Majesty, your Successor is exactly like the first king in this kingdom.” said Arthur was amazed by the cruelty of Arthur who killed innocent Hanz for personal gain.

“I hope he can awaken the glory of the Charlotte family like he used to.”

Long ago, the son of a genius demon who had the blessing of a god, he was born into the Charlotte family who only lived in a small village.

With his blood magic, he is able to fight millions of creatures alone and kill anyone who is an enemy to him. It ends with a kingdom called Red Blood.

The Kingdom of Red Blood was highly respected and feared by other kingdoms for several centuries, Up until now the Red Blood kingdom started to decline gradually by stage due to the lack of genius descendants born within the Charlotte family.

All the descendants of Charlotte are in a state of slumber because they are busy enjoying the results of their ancestors.
