Ch.35 - Cyrus VS Cleo 2

It only took a few seconds after Cyrus shouted to call Mino to come, instantly making all the demons surprised and goosebumps to see a large and feathery figure with a monster face.

“Who is it?”

“Aglorious once.”  

“There is no way we can all win against him. No, even balanced with him alone it is already impossible.”.

All of the royal guards muttered while shivering in fear from seeing Mino's figure who looked extremely strong.

The royal guard who was blocking the road was now out of his way and gave him a way out of fear of seeing Mino who was heading to Cyrus.

After a few steps Mino knelt behind Cyrus and said, “I come, your majesty king.” Mino lowered her head with a large axe still standing upright in her hands.

Some bodyguards are confused by the attitude shown by Mino, “He said the word ‘Raja’ and lowered his head?” said one of the guards in my heart.

“Hahaha... Your majesty, why don't you tell me if you have a new army that looks strong? Am I still not strong?” arthur said with a laugh.

Arthur does not understand the words of Mino, actually the king that Mino means is not Cleo but Cyrus. Now Cyrus can't think clearly because Cleo's blood magic has begun to enter her brain, so that he could not give any orders to Mino which made him just remain silent in a kneeling position behind Cyrus.

Cleo did not respond to Arthur's words, but instead she suppressed her blood magic using a larger mana. The blood magic Cleo used now made all the demons around the throne room feel suffocated due to the impact of the magnitude of the mana Cleo used.

“Wait...wait a little longer. Last longer Cyrus!” cleo said in his heart.

The pain Cyrus felt instead of increasing, but now Cyrus became more accustomed to the pain he felt because the longer the time of regeneration Cyrus' body is greater than Cleo's blood magic.

Finally now Cleo released her blood magic and said, “It's impossible, I'm just testing how strong my grandson is but this time I have a descendant that can't even measure his strength.” he said while showing a proud look to Cyrus.

Even the entire Charlotte family who watched also took a surprise after seeing the miracle that Cyrus did, because the Charlotte family had understood the impact of blood magic.

After a few seconds Cyrus' body returned to normal as Cleo unleashed her blood magic and also relief from Cyrus' body regeneration.

“What do you mean, grandpa?” Cyrus still did not understand Cleo's words.

“Maybe you've made history, Cyrus. No one can manage to survive this long if exposed to blood magic even though the creature is very powerful though.” Cleo explained to Cyrus while hinting one of her hands at the royal guard holding Eliza's body to release her immediately.

“Really? How long can a powerful being survive blood magic?” cyrus said as she scratched her head slowly.

“If the creature is weak but has a strong determination, he must last at most 5 minutes and his life is on the verge between life and death.” Cleo explained and took a sitting position on her throne.

This time Cleo's countenance was truly happy and proud to have Cyrus in the Charlotte family as the successor of the Red Blood kingdom.

After hearing Cleo's explanation, Cyrus now only fell silent and still showed a slightly irritated look on her face due to the unpleasant treatment. But Cyrus is trying to suppress her anger no matter what here including the family Cyrus should protect in the future.

Besides Cyrus, Eliza is sitting in fear and panic with a body trembling because the demon king Cleo still has not given a decision of Eliza's freedom that has violated the rules of the ancestors.

“Hiks.. Hikss...” The quiet voice that restrained Eliza's cry was heard by Cyrus, now she approached Eliza and opened the elegant black robe that Cyrus was wearing to envelop Eliza's body.

Cleo sees what Cyrus is doing that cares about Eliza so much and tries to protect her. This incident made Cleo, who was notoriously cruel, for the first time released the creatures who were punished.

“Because Cyrus is really strong and worthy of breaking the rules, then I will release Eliza from the death penalty.” Cleo said loudly until all the creatures in the corner of the throne room heard it clearly.

“I refused.. I refused the forgiveness you gave to Eliza.” Cyrus replied with a loud speech as well. Jessica yelled at Cyrus, “What do you mean? You idiot...he's my son!”

At the same time Eliza looked only at Cyrus, she was more and more confused by what she thought to reject the demon king's mercy. “What-what does Cyrus not like me?” eliza said in her heart.

Cyrus ignored Jessica's screams and continued, “I just don't want my future wife to get a title as a traitor or divulge royal secrets.” Cyrus said as she pulled Soul Eater stuck on the floor.

“Then, What will you do, son?” asked Cleo gently.

“Just relax, you will know in the next few days, and no one bothers Eliza, anyone who dares to touch her will face me.”  Cyrus calmly took Eliza away from the throne room.

All the demons noticed the passing of Cyrus and Eliza who were being followed by a large-bodied demonic creature from behind.

As they walked out of the room, Arthur asked Cleo. “Yes, why did he also go with Cyrus?” arthur asked, What he meant was Mino.

Cleo smiled slightly and shook her head, “Dumb bas.. You didn't notice it? from the beginning the demon was Cyrus's subordinate.”

At night in Cyrus' room, it was clear that Eliza's face was still a little shocked by the commotion that occurred in the king's throne room this afternoon.

Cyrus takes Eliza to her room at Eliza's request who is afraid of black roses. At this time Eliza could not think clearly because she had harassed the Black Rose by leaking information about the leader and the whereabouts of the Black Rose to others.

“Dare you, Eliza. how can the future queen of the kingdom of Red Blood be afraid of a small organization like the Black Rose.” Cyrus gave her spirit to Eliza from the fall of her fear.

Hearing Cyrus's words, Eliza's countenance became brighter than before. “Thank you, Cyrus.. I will try to be a demon worthy of you and this kingdom.”.
