Ch.31 - Eliza Status

After seeing from a distance they all left the royal palace, now there was a knock from the door of the room, “Tok... tokk....”.

“Who?” ask Cyrus.

“It's me, Eliza.”

“Wait..”.

Not long after, Cyrus came out of her room. To Cyrus' surprise, she saw a beautiful woman who looked different than before.

Without giving any expression, Cyrus said. “You....what's looking for me?” ask Cyrus quickly.

With a sullen look on her face Eliza said, “Didn't you see today I was different?” she said while holding the dress and slightly turning to the right and left.

Cyrus just kept quiet and looked at Eliza without giving any expression. Eliza continued her words. “Grandfather called you, he told me to take you there..”.

“Alright, I am also bored in the room.” Cyrus replied in a flat tone.

They both went to the king's throne. The throne that looks luxurious and beautiful is very comfortable in the eye, there Cleo was sitting casually while waiting for the arrival of Cyrus.

Cyrus approached Cleo's place and asked, “What did grandfather call me?” he said in a flat tone.

“How was your night? Can you sleep well?” cleo said with a small smile.

Cyrus frowned and said, “Just get to the point, what did grandfather call me?” cyrus asked quickly this time.

“Hahaha... Your attitude is very similar to your mother.” Cleo said with a laugh.

A few seconds later Cleo fell silent and put on her serious face before Cyrus as she said, “First, tomorrow morning the kingdom of Red Blood will hold a condolence for the death of the crown princess of this kingdom, Amelia Charlotte.”

Hearing Cleo's words, made Cyrus feel moved because in this kingdom still remember the figure of Amelia even though she was gone.

Then Cleo continued her words, “Second, next week is the day of your coronation as crown prince as well as your wedding with Eliza.”

Without thinking much, Cyrus answered Cleo's words in a calm tone. “Alright, faster is better. Besides, there are a lot of things I have to do in the next few days.”

Cleo smiled happily at Cyrus' reply who accepted her plan without refuting.

While beside Cyrus, Eliza was very happy with Cyrus' answer. Previously Eliza thought it was too soon for Cyrus to hold a wedding, but Cyrus' answer was the opposite.

Eliza never thought she would soon marry the demon she liked, Cyrus Alexander. Previously Eliza very often received marriage proposal letters sent by nobles or princes from other kingdoms because of her beauty, but Eliza never returned the letters.

When all was done, Cyrus left the throne and asked Eliza to accompany him around the kingdom.

As they were walking leisurely, Cyrus was suddenly surprised that Eliza was holding her hand and she said. “Thank you.” said Eliza with a smiling face.

Cyrus turned to Eliza and asked, “For what?”

“You saved my life and my mother's. And also.” Suddenly Eliza's face reddened in shame in front of Cyrus who was looking at her. Then Eliza continued her remarks, “Thank you for accepting this marriage.” she said in a soft voice.

“No problem, I just want a family.”

Then Cyrus again stepped foot that had stopped because of Eliza's thanks. While walking Cyrus said, “I just want to be strong to avenge my mother's father's death, don't hinder me in strengthening myself.”

Eliza walked after Cyrus from behind and heard Cyrus say, now Eliza showed a sad look and said, “I'm sorry.” said Eliza while lowering her head.

This time Cyrus did not stop her steps and continued walking without answering Eliza's apology, then Eliza continued her remark, “Although I cannot use magic, but I will try to be a worthy wife for you.”

Cyrus only occasionally glanced at the look on Eliza's face that looked sad and still walked casually while looking at the luxurious decorations of the royal palace. “It is impossible.. Charlotte's maturity cannot be weak.” Cyrus said in her heart.

After a while, Cyrus began to say. “What if we talk in a quieter place?” cyrus said out of curiosity about Eliza.

“Alright, in this royal park there is a place that I often visit.”

The two of them now go to the park that Eliza means. The vast park only looks blood red roses in the entire corner of the park, the beautiful scenery makes Eliza's heart become calmer when she sees it while being troubled.

“I want to know about you, can?” said Cyrus.

Eliza was surprised by Cyrus who was curious about her, “Of course, you are my future husband.” Eliza replied with a smile.

“As I recall my mother once told me, all the descendants of Charlotte have tremendous power.. Then why can't you use magic?” cyrus asked, looking into Eliza's eyes.

With mixed feelings of sadness and happiness Eliza replied. “Since I was a child every time I practiced mana for magic basics, I always fell unconscious and sick.” he said in a soft voice.

Cyrus was silent after hearing Eliza's reply, she still did not believe in Eliza's state of being unable to use any magic, after all, every creature in this world could definitely use magic even if it was only low-level magic.

Because more curious, now Cyrus spoke with Qwerty in heart, “Qwerty, open status Eliza.”

Cyrus was surprised to see Job and Eliza's Skill inscribed “Tersegel” in Qwerty's status displayed. This was the first time Cyrus saw a creature with a status with a sealed skill.

While Cyrus was looking at status, Eliza saw Cyrus was in a state of daydreaming. Cyrus' daydreams now made the atmosphere become silent for a while.

Cyrus remained focused and curious about Eliza's status, then she asked Qwerty, “What makes Eliza unable to use magic because her skill is sealed?”

[Right sir, Job and Eliza's Skill are currently being sealed making Eliza unable to sense anything at all. ]

“How do I remove the seal?”
