Ch.26 - Shadow's First Task

During his life just stay in the kingdom and go anywhere always escorted by bodyguards, of course this incident is the first time for Eliza to face directly with monsters without bodyguards.

Eliza was surprised when she saw the monster and the demon looking down on her, then she said. “You know each other?” he said with a surprised face.

Brush heard a woman's voice, then she glanced at the woman. Brush was shocked when she saw the beautiful demon figure that was hugging Cyrus' body.

“I'm sorry for my sassness master, I didn't mean to interrupt the beautiful evening master..” Brush said as she stepped back.

Seeing Brush's behavior made Cyrus smile a little, saying. “Already, do your job as usual I am very hungry.” Cyrus with a smile.

“Good master.” said Brush while walking away from Cyrus.

“Wait Brush.. add the portion, we have to feed him.” Cyrus said while glancing at Eliza.

“Good master.” replied Brush while glancing at eliza.

Brush and Buldog leave the two of them in search of firewood, while Eliza is very curious about Brush and Buldog.

“Cyrus... Who is he? Why did he call you master?” eliza.

“He is Brush, my slave.” Cyrus said in a flat tone.

Hearing the word “ slave “ made Eliza speechless, who originally had a face of fear due to the arrival of monsters now turned into a face of sadness.

Eliza stopped talking or asked Cyrus. Because he often asked and heard from some servants, that the life of a slave was just like the undead.

Things become awkward. Brush and Buldog return with some firewood and end up eating grilled meat together.

On the same night at midnight, they all fell asleep. Suddenly heard from Cyrus' head Qwerty's voice was beeping repeatedly.

Cyrus scrunched her forehead, “How did you get caught?” cyrus said as she moved out of her sleeping position.

Where Cyrus's points or Mp continue to decrease when Cyrus's summon creature is injured, they use Cyrus' points automatically to regenerate the injured part continuously.

As long as Cyrus had mana points, Cyrus' summon creature would continue to heal the wounds on its own.although Shadow's head was severed, he would reshape his head and stay alive as long as Cyrus did not run out of mana points.

Cyrus sees Eliza, Brush, and the Buldogs sleeping. “It is better not to wake a bully like him.” muttered Cyrus who meant to Eliza and walked away leaving those who were asleep towards the direction Shadow was.

After a long wait, Cyrus saw a shadow shadow that came to him and not far from the Shadow seen also some demons who were chasing him.

The Demon Warriors who were chasing after the shadow numbered 30 soldiers, without a second thought Cyrus ordered the Soul Eaters to devour their souls.

“Kill all those demons, don't let any of them escape.” Cyrus said with a small smile.

“By pleasure sir.” The soul eater darted fiercely towards the demon warrior.

“Krakk..”.

“Sick..”

“Ahhhh... Dagger what is.”.

“Sial... interrupt only.”.

The sound of Soul Eater penetrated the armor of one of the soldiers and the voice of the soldiers who were in pain due to the Soul Eater stabs.

Qwerty's voice continued to ring in Cyrus' head until all the demon soldiers were killed by Cyrus.

After killing all the Soul Eaters back to Cyrus and Shadow has now managed to save Jessica Charlotte.

Shadow approached Cyrus and lowered his head and said, “Yang Mulia.” he said respectfully.

“hm... Where is Jessica?” cyrus said because she didn't see Jessica with her.

“Since the beginning I have moved Jessica into a torture chamber that is in my shadow.” Shadow said.

The torture chamber is the ultimate Shadow Skill that can torture and kill anyone trapped in its shadow.

“Torture room? Are you crazy.. I told you to save him.” Cyrus said in a high tone.

“I just keep it in the shadow, your majesty.I do not torture or kill it.” Shadow said with fear.

“Ahh alright, get her out.”

Shadow's shadow casts out an adult demonic woman similar to Amelia Charlotte. The woman was unconscious due to the effects of Shadow's torture chamber.

Looking at the woman, Cyrus was shocked and her eyes showed deep sadness. Jessica Charlotte reminds Cyrus of her mother, Amelia Charlotte.

“His face...it is as beautiful as my mother.” Cyrus said inwardly as she looked at Jessica longingly.

When Cyrus was silent looking at Jessica, she was suddenly startled by Shadow's voice.

“Yes, forgive me for not doing the first job well.” Shadow's body shivered with fear.

“Forget... Shadow's good work, you've done your job well.” Cyrus replied while patting Shadow's shoulder.

After everything was finished, Cyrus ordered Shadow to hide in her shadow. Cyrus wants to hide the Shadow Existence as a shadow warrior, which is invisible to many.

Cyrus returns to Eliza's place holding an unconscious Jessica.
