The funeral was over by noon. Some relatives are still there. I went back to my room to see Teuku.

Degs...

I stared at him lying on my simple bed. He was playing with Teuku who was awake. "Is he thirsty?" I'm still standing at the door.

"Yes, he just woke up. Please bring warm water!" I immediately went to the kitchen to fetch some freshly cooked water from my relatives.

"Slow down! The water's still hot." The younger sister of Abu whom I often call Mak Cek warns me.

"Yes, Mak Cheque." I brought half a glass of hot water and then one glass of cold water to the room. The door to my room, which was only made of a board that came from a coconut stem, I left it open. Just the curtain cloth I still let dangle beautifully so that the contents of my very simple room do not look too out.

Rendra woke up from her sleep and took the bottle and can of milk that was available in the big bag.

"Here you see how to make milk for Rendra ya!" I saw one step at a time to make milk for Teuku. In my village no one gives their children formula milk like this. Every baby only drinks milk for two years. There is no woman who does not have breast milk after giving birth. Perhaps that is called the sustenance of a child who has been sent down by Allah SWT.

The lack of wealth does not make the babies in my village malnourished. The proof, only armed with breast milk for two years the children in my village grew up and rarely exposed to dangerous diseases.

Every day they play either into the rice fields or bathe in the irrigation or the creeks that pass through our village. Looking for quail eggs in the rice fields and catching fish or eels in the swamp becomes a very fun activity for them. They also do not need to be afraid of soldiers or rebels because both sides of the conflict do not make them as a bait for gun shots.

They dissolve in their own world even the sound of weapons or bombs is not scary for them.

"Cut, what else do you think?" Rendra's question surprised me.

"Emm.there's nothing. Is it done?"

Rendra pointed with his chin Teuku who was sucking milk from a bottle held by Rendra. "I wanted to have children too when I saw Rendra. Don't you want to?"

"Huh? I don't know. I'm out first." It's not good to linger in there with Rendra. I decided to join Umi and Abu who were talking to the elders in our village. Teungku Zul, the village priest and the village chief also participated there.

"I forgive those of us who have hidden the Inspiration from the fathers of all. I just don't want the path she chose to take to expose my family."

Abu tried to explain the truth that Abu had been hiding to the villagers.

"Already, Abu. Our parents can only pray. Sometimes children feel they are big and can make decisions at will. Though we elders first eat the salt acid of life." The Village Head.

"I heard that her baby son survived, is it true?"

Abu nodded then looked at me. "Cut, bring Teuku here!" I went inside but before stepping Rendra was already out while holding Teuku.

Rendra sat down near Abu. I sat down near Umi. I felt their gazes at Rendra were very unfriendly. And Rendra also seemed to understand but he seemed to ignore them.

"What's his name?" Ask Teungku Zul.

"Rendra???" Teungku Zul looked at me and Abu.

Again Rendra immediately answered Teungku Zul's question. "Rendra means cerdar, clever. Later he will grow up to be a smart and intelligent child like the Prophet Muhammad." Obviously Rendra made Teungku Zul and the others understand.

"Fathers of Sagoe village. On this occasion I also want to say goodbye to everyone. Forgive my mistakes and colleagues if during our stay in this village we made a lot of mistakes. Trust me, we don't want to hurt anyone here. We also have parents and family waiting for us at home."

The villagers welcomed the farewell words that were voiced by Rendra. Rendra handed Teuku to Abu and then resigned to return to the district headquarters.

The night after the magrib prayer we held a small charity event which was only attended by neighbors and relatives who chose to stay at our house.

Teuku was very calm while at home. I gave her milk as Rendra taught her. The orphaned baby got a lot of love in this house. I hope she will have more love in her life.

Six days later, the atmosphere of my village returned to a sea of soldiers. Today the new army replacement soldiers had previously arrived. The soldiers who used to serve in my village will be home tomorrow. This afternoon, the sound of people greeting sounded from outside. I was in the room with Teuku. I just finished bathing him and now he's a very handsome baby boy.

"Getishalam." I answered while carrying Teuku.

A couple of men in striped clothes were standing at my doorstep. I looked at those men. I know one of them. He's the soldier who took a picture of me yesterday. "Cut, this is a shipment from the Commander." One fairly large cardboard they brought and put directly into my room tampa pardon.

I gawked at Rendra's men who without permission just walked in. "I'm sorry, but the Commander told me to put it in your room right away."

I didn't answer anything anymore. "I'll excuse you." One of them waved at Teuku and the baby seemed to understand. Teuku replied with a smile emanating on his face.

"Who, Cut?" Ask Umi who came from the kitchen.

"The front man, Umi."

"What are they doing here?"

"Introducing goods from Mr. Rendra, Umi."

"What stuff?"

"Not yet Cut open." Umi invites me to look at the large cardboard that has been lying in the room. "Why so big? What's this stuff?"

Umi took Teuku in my sling. "Try opening! Umi was curious about it."

I took a knife in the kitchen and cut the cardboard adhesive and the contents were very diverse. Umi and I stared one by one at the things I had taken out of so many boxes.

Toiletries and after bathing for Rendra, clothes, milk, shoes. Then there are two pairs of clothes and a veil and ten books with various titles.

A thick-looking envelope caught my attention. When I opened it......
