Miss is not a fool

A man accompanied by his bodyguards, walked through the deserted streets towards where he had settled in the meantime. With an annoyed face like he had just lost a gamble, the man dominated the conversation between himself and the female knight next to him.

"Looking for me?"

Jumping away, the man was deeply entangled when he heard the voice of a woman from behind the wall he had just passed. The knight escorting the man immediately stepped forward to protect him.

Never would they have thought if someone had been looking forward to their presence right after exiting the daei alley.

Seeing the two people instantly raise their vigilance made Ashley chuckle. Especially since they were the ones looking for that woman first.

The man's mouth opened to say something, but he closed it again and preferred to be quiet. The girl he had been looking for all this time, surprisingly came to see him. How did the woman know of their whereabouts? Kalia's? But Kalia had never betrayed him all this time.

Along with Ashley's expression slowly turning serious, the tension between the three of them increased.

A while ago. After forcibly releasing the source she had obtained, Ashley intended to enter the inn for further 'inquiry. But his steps stopped when he heard the voice of two people talking about something with a language that he did not understand.

He glanced at the two strangers by Bellena, before the knight in front of him opened his mouth again.

While shaking off the small hand that was holding him, the man moved. But Bellena again blocked him again and made the knight furious.

Equally upset, the girl pulled firmly on the collar of the man's shirt, looking at him sharply while refraining from shouting.

"Listen. It's not easy to gain Miss's trust, and I don't want to die just for failing to hold you back."

Hearing Bellena's increasingly slurred speech and seemed to exaggerate, the man felt he could not stand it anymore.

"Stop being excessive. I can take you as a threat to Miss and end your life."

Bellena grinned. Her face now looks eleven twelve with Ashley. With eyes wide open and an evil smile on his lips, he made the knight cringe.

"Miss is not a fool."
