Accompany Me to Die

Accompany Me to Die
Where's Nayla?

"Naila!"

"Fresh!"

"Sir Agus!"

The villagers unpretently called out the names of the three in turn. Tegar's motorbike was found intact in its place.

"Is it possible that they were carried away by the river?" ask Mr. Tarmiji to Budi.

Budi did not answer, he checked the situation around. Nothing is suspicious. The motor is still intact and there is no damage at all, he then walked slowly looking for clues with makeshift lighting.

Something caught his eye among the river rocks.

"Find something?" asked the Putra doctor, Budi pointed towards the large rocks.

There was a wooden fracture accompanied by blood stains. Follow the blood stains that are scattered. "There's a fight, but it could also be this trace of fighting a beast."

"It seems impossible to. I have never heard of a beast coming down from the forest. No forest dogs exist." Mr. Tarmiji disputed Budi's second estimate.

Budi was silent, he again walked down the river bank looking for traces left over from the estimated fights. It could be traces of blood, tools used, body pieces, or it could be a corpse. But what is more expected from Budi is to find the three in a safe state.

"Woooy, here!" the voice of one of the residents was heard echoing between the sounds of the river flow.

Budi and the others came closer. "What's wrong? Found anything?" Budi asked quickly, his adrenaline increased when he found the body drenched in blood in the position of the face down.

Carefully Mr. Tarmiji flipped over the stiffened body, "Who knows this?" asking the others, the residents whispered and shook their heads.

"He is not a villager here mas, if the village next to us does not understand as well." Mr. Tarmiji asserted.

"There's another one!" yell at the people again.

Budi rushed over to check, the body of the large-bodied man this time looked like it was torn apart, horrifying. His face was full of scratches, and on his chest was a penetrating stab wound from behind.

"Astaghfirullah Al-Adzim, who did this!" whispered citizens with expressions full of horror.

"What's really going on in this village, Bud?" Anton asked looking at the two lifeless bodies.

"I don't understand, either, my feeling is that Nayla might be in danger!"

"I think so, too, but where is he?"

Anton returned to look around. The night does not provide the slightest light to facilitate the search. It could be an important clue missed or even accidentally damaged because it was stepped on or erased by residents who were combing the location.

"Mas Budi, Anton!" The Son's doctor called the two of them, and they came closer.

"See this! These are Nayla's shoes!" Doctor Putra panicked, Budi grabbed the shoe and watched it well.

"I think Nayla went into the forest there," Budi pointed across, he walked back and found the pair of shoes.

"Are you sure Nayla's there?" Anton made sure.

"I'm sure you're not sure, but we should try, right? We split the two teams, me and Putra's doctor into the woods and the second team combed this location."

Anton nodded, "Help for another hour until, hopefully sooner!"

They move fast, time is precious. They do not know whether Nayla is safe or threatened.

"Mas Budi, I'm afraid Nayla will _,"

Budi brought his team and the villagers into the forest. They called Nayla and Tegar names interchangeably.

"Wait, stop!" Stopped his team's move.

"What's wrong with Budi?" The doctor asked miserably.

Budi crouched down and found a new scratch accompanied by drops of blood on the trunk of the Pine tree. "The score is unique, this is not an ordinary sharp weapon? It's some sort of ... claw? Ah no way, Mr. Tarmiji said there were never any wild animals."

"Where are the police? Continue on?" a citizen approached him.

"We continue, look for a log or anything that can be used for self-defense!"

Budi directs residents to take whatever can be used to fight large twigs, stones, or wooden sticks around them. The situation suddenly tense up, they put their eyes and ears to notice the suspicious movements around them.

"Beware, and protect each other!" exclaim Budi which increasingly makes the atmosphere more gripping.

The forest felt so dark and terrifying, the descending mist further worsened the visibility. They no longer care about the cold biting air.

"Nay, hang on!" Budi expressed hope for the young doctor who had stolen his attention.

...----------------...

Nayla curled up alone in the dark, she was cold, scared and in pain. His face was bruised and his body was also covered in scratches. His eyes were watching the movement around. He hides behind a bush, waiting for someone or anyone who comes to his rescue.

Does anybody? I don't know, Nayla's mind is raging. He regretted not bringing his phone with him, regretting his intention to lure Tegar to talk about his past. Nayla also regretted her stupidity that interfered too much with the case of civilian deaths. If he had followed his father's advice, if and if only, and it was too late.

Now that Nayla doesn't even know where she is, she just follows a voice that leads her to hide behind a bush. A voice that whispered softly in his ear, to follow the fireflies that were out of nowhere appeared.

Nayla sobbed while keeping her mouth shut. He remembered the horrors recorded in his memory. Really Nayla did not think that Tegar could turn violent like a wild animal. Shortly after Nayla crossed the river, Mbah Anto's men chased her. Two strong-bodied men chased him quickly. So too with a man named Mbah Anto.

The frightened Nayla kept running, but Nayla's strength was not comparable to that of Mbah Anto's men. Nayla caught. They treated Nayla harshly. Mbah Anto also gave him a slap to get information about Arini and ndoro princess.

Of course Nayla did not know it, she only saw glimpses of the princess's past and about Arini she did not understand at all let alone know her whereabouts. When Mbah Anto and his two men seized Nayla, that was when the strangeness occurred. A sturdy man who was holding his hand, suddenly lifted up and crashed just like that into the trees.

Nayla was flabbergasted, she was confused. His shock was not over when Nayla saw Tegar appear drenched in blood. At first he smiled widely and thought Tegar would save himself but the strange growling sound of Tegar made Nayla clench her guts. The exotic young man who always accompanied and joked with her changed.

He killed the lives of two of Mbah Anto's men with sadism. Nayla was nauseous to see Tegar tear, bite and scratch both men. In just a few minutes. Rigid acts like a starving and bloodthirsty beast. Indeed Tegar has entered the figure of the guardian creature Nyai Kembang.

Nyai Kembang appears when Tegar calls and Sang Nyai also helps by sending his bodyguards to enter Tegar's body. That's why Tegar easily killed the lives of followers Mbah Anto despite being seen in terms of physical and strength Tegar lost. Nayla manages to escape as Mbah Anto and Tegar fight.

"Whoever please save me!" his humour was softened, he further immersed his face in his own embrace.

A SREEK!!

THE KRAAK!!

The sound of a twig being stepped on made Nayla's sobbing stop. His eyes circled around trying to see in the dimness of the night. Footsteps were clearly heard approaching Nayla. Nayla's heart beat fast, she resigned and no longer knew what to do other than just freeze and hide in the bush.

"You're hiding here apparently!" a hoarse and raucous voice sounded from behind his body.

Nayla was about to scream but was restrained with her sharp hoofed hands that smothered her. Nayla's eyes widened but soon it turned into an immeasurable horror. Nayla's body was dragged forcibly out of the bush. No doubt the sharp thorns tore the thin tissue on the surface of his body.

Nayla thrashed but lost steam. The figure continued to forcefully carry him regardless of Nayla's restrained screams and the meaningless punch from the young doctor.

"Dad, please! Save me!"
